6 – Dylan Douangphrachanh Dylan Douangphrachanh 6'3" | SG Benson | 2024 State OR (2024 Benson)
Long a silky smooth smoother, Douangphrachanh has worked hard on getting more physical on both ends of the floor and improving his game getting to the hoop and finishing. The 6-foot-3 wing didn’t play as much AAU basketball this spring and summer as he’s emerged as a state contender in the long jump on the track. He remains one of Benson’s top guns as the Techmen chase a PIL title this season.
7 – TJ Latu TJ Latu 6'3" | CG Jefferson | 2024 State OR (2024 Jefferson)
Perhaps one of the most well-built players in the class, Latu certainly overwhelmed the 3A level last season as a First Team All-State honoree at De La Salle Catholic. The 6-foot-3 combo guard is now at Jefferson and the level of play should be no different to him. As powerful as he is getting to the basket, the lefty has a smooth jumper and can really get hot from three-point range.
8 – Jackson Weiland Jackson Weiland 6'0" | PG South Medford | 2024 State OR (2024 South Medford)
Weiland played the state tournament with a broken collarbone, showing just how the junior is one of the toughest players in his class. When he got healthy again, the 6-foot guard was able to show his accurate three-point ball and headiness at the point during AAU basketball. His experience at the point will be critical as a young South Medford team is hoping to make a return to the state tournament.
9 – Quincy Townsend Quincy Townsend 6'2" | CG Mountain View | 2024 State OR (2024 Mountain View)
One of the few prospects in the class to already hold a scholarship offer – Townsend has one from Southern Oregon – the 6-foot point guard really took the reins of the Mountain View offense as a sophomore. He’s capable of both scoring and passing and his toughness and smarts are what you would expect from a coach’s son.
10 – Chance White Chance White 6'0" | CG Roosevelt | 2024 State OR (2024 Roosevelt)
White makes his debut in the top ten in this update and it’s well deserved. The quick 6-foot guard continues to elevate his game and has taken full advantage of opposing defenses focusing on his talented Roosevelt teammates. He can knock down the corner three, is quick to the hoop, and finishes at the rim.
