Maurice Austin Maurice Austin 5'10" | PG Pueblo South | 2024 State CO was the best true point guard at the event, he made the right passes and got all of his teammates involved while pushing the tempo of the game. Maurice showed off elite quickness and used quick moves to get to the rim or stop on a dime for pull-up jumpers. At the rim, he uses his strength and vertical bounce to finish tough layups. Despite being one of the shortest players on the floor he was one of the most impactful players at the event dominating on both ends of the floor. On the defensive end, he uses his quickness to jump passing lanes and pickpockets while guarding on ball.

Andrew Crawford – ThunderRidge

Andrew Crawford was the most intriguing prospect at the event due to his guard elite guard skills and size. At and around his height there were no other players in the gym who moved quite like Andrew did, guards were too small and bigs were too slow to stay in front of him. Andrew uses sweeping rip-throughs and dribbles to get by opponents. He is a legit point guard who is a crafty scorer with the ball in his hands.

Josiah Sanders Josiah Sanders 6'4" | PG Colorado Prep | 2025 State #310 Nation CO is a combo guard who stands out with his college-ready size. Josiah is a combo guard who has a knack for getting downhill using smooth handles and big steps to get by defenders. With his broad frame and 6’3 height, he is able to play from the wing or play the more traditional point guard role. Josiah has high scoring upside and on the defensive end can guard positions 1-3 and even can hold his own down low against some bigs.

Lorenzo Contreras Lorenzo Contreras 5'9" | PG Smoky Hill | 2025 State CO is a fun player to watch as he has a flashy style of play mixed with great skill. He gets super low to the ground on his moves making it hard for taller defenders to stay in front of him. Lorenzo has great instincts handling the ball toying with defenders with his shifty handle. He is a crafty scorer using floaters and mid-range pull-up jumpers to his advantage. While he is a good scorer he also is a guard who can set up teammates with dish-off passes while he draws in the defense.

Gavin Hershberger Gavin Hershberger 5'11" Rock Canyon | 2023 CO showed off his knockdown shooting ability at the event allowing him to build up some big scoring performances. Gavin was lights out off of the catch yesterday going on hot streaks hitting multiple threes in a row. He was able to play on and off of the ball effectively, with the ball in his hands he was an effective point guard who ran the offense.
