These are players that I think might be head tuners in Bellevue on Saturday. Players that I am excited to watch.
Team 1-
As I mentioned there eleven players on most of these teams, so if I don’t mention your name, it’s not a bad thing. That’s why we have these tournaments. It’s your time to shine. I am quite sure I will come away with a bunch of names that I am impressed with that I don’t list. I will be writing about players in a more advanced detail after the tournament. Here’s a brief look at some players to watch.
He was an all league honorable mention pick for Ferris last season as a sophomore. A great shooter, he did a lot of damage from downtown last season. He’s going to have a much bigger role this year as Ferris graduated a lot of players from last year’s team. A 6’4 shooter who will be showcasing much more, as he takes over as one of the leaders this season. I have not seen him play in person and look forward to seeing the growth in his game.

As an incoming freshman this kid has all the tools to become an elite player. He’s got the skills to score it in a variety of ways and is constantly attacking the defense and keeping them on their heels. I’ve not watched him in person but from what I have seen, he will be an exciting player to follow in the years to come. He’s talented, confident, and has some shake and bake to add to it. He’s a head turner and only a freshman.
Anyone looking for a legitimate college level prospect, look no further. He’s a top ranked player in the class of 2024, and has the skills, athleticism, and size to be a good college player. He’s 6’5 and can play either guard spot. He got 20 a game on a good Annie Wright team as a, sophomore last season. He’s a big time talent and not the only one from his school that I am excited to see. One of the better college prospects in the entire field, he will no doubt turn some heads.
Team 2-
Speaking of college prospects, here’s another one that I know a lot about but have yet to see in person. He’s been tearing it up this off-season and was just named to the all star team at the Sacramento exposure camp. He’s showed well at every stop, including at UW. Only a sophomore, the sky is the limit for him. Elite athlete, great scorer from all over the floor. Great defender, with good size and length. He’s a division 1 by the time it’s all said and done. He will continue to make gains because of his work ethic. He’s a top 5 head turning player this weekend.

I admit, I don’t know much about this kid. I have not watched him. I’m excited to see what he can do as a 6’7 sophomore. With that kind of size, there’s definitely some head turning potential.
He brings a lot of energy and excitement to the game. He’s a skilled guard with a little flash to his game. I think he will turn some heads with those skills from the point guard position. One of those players that is fun to watch because you are never quite sure what you might see from him next.

Team 3-
A player who can affect the game in a variety of ways. He’s got a sturdy build and gets downhill well. He’s got a good feel for the game, and plays with a little flare. He’s good in the open floor and can absorb contact in the lane and get buckets. I think he’ll be a head turner.

Sniper alert. This kid can shoot it. There’s nothing I like more than a kid who can shoot it from well beyond the three point line and also put it on the deck and get into a mid-range jumper. He’ll turn some heads when he knocks down a few 30 footers. He can also make the defense turn their heads and get to the bucket once they notice there is a sniper in the building.
Team 4-
He was CO-MVP of his league as a sophomore and a 1st team selection last year. He is a shooter, great in the open floor, and an athlete. The lefty is smooth and effective scorer. Maybe a little under the radar here with this kid.

I think he’s going to be a big time player for Capital this season. He was, 2nd team all league last season, as, a junior. He’s upped his game. I look for him to be a head turner with the jump he’s made. He’s got good size for a guard, plays smart, and uses it well to be a an impact player from all over the floor.
He’s just a sophomore, but you may not know it when you watch him. Shooter. Good mid-range game. Athlete. Skilled. He’s going to have a bright future with Bellevue Christian. He’s a player to watch.
