We take a look at some of the top sophomores that were in attendance for session one,
If you want to watch the entire event, you can see it here.
Christian Gurdak Christian Gurdak 6'9" | C Gonzaga | 2025 State #156 Nation MD | 6’10” C | Paul VI
Gurdak is rated as our number one player in the 2025 class rankings and he backed it up at the Fall Series as he was a dominant force inside and continues to get his body right and gets more explosive as well. He moved well running the floor and moving block to block to catch passes in the post, he was great in the dunker spots as he exploded to play above the rim but also showed good good touch over the shoulders and at the free throw line and he is such an intimidating presence in the post as a rebounder and altering shots as well.
Jaquan Womack Jaquan Womack 6'7" | PF Paul VI | 2025 State #284 Nation VA | 6’6” F | Paul VI
Womack is another very talented sophomore that was impressive in spurts for the Panthers and his versatility at his size could make him an x-factor this year as he can allow them to play different styles. At 6’6” he’s strong enough to bang in the post and hit the offensive glass, he’s skilled enough to step outside where he can hit shots and put it on the deck and get downhill and he’s an excellent finisher in traffic as well as a good passer as well.
Jayden Fort Jayden Fort 6'8" | PF Jackson-Reed | 2025 State #128 Nation MD | 6’7” PF | Tenley Tigers
Fort is a new name to keep an eye on in the DMV area as the young big man made a lot of impressive plays with his athleticism and relentless style of play in the paint. He’s a good athlete who’s likely still growing into his body but he hit the glass hard and played through traffic and rebounded on both ends, he ran the floor hard and showed good mobility and he played with a good motor in the paint on both ends.
Bobby Montgomery Bobby Montgomery 6'5" | SF Mt. Zion | 2025 State #229 Nation MD | 6’6” WF | Mt. Zion
Montgomery is part of a very talented young group at Mt. Zion that will be very special if they all decide to stay together, and the 6’6” wing is only going to continue to get better as he continues to develop. He’s a strong kid who can get out in transition and get downhill where he aggressively attacks the rim and plays above the rim, he can guard multiple positions with his size and athleticism and he’s a good passer off the bounce as well.
Donovan Flamer | 6’8” PF | Rosedale Catholic
Flamer is a very intriguing young big man prospect for the up and coming program in Rosedale Christian out of Baltimore, and he seems like he’s only scratching the surface with how good he will be. He looks like he’s still growing and has a frame that should fill out, he has good length to rebound and protect the rim, he’s mobile and runs the floor well and he has good pop and touch around the rim as well.
Josh Bullock | 6’6” WF | Grace Brethren
Bullock is another impressive young prospect out of the DMV that has all the physical and athletic tools already and a very high ceiling moving forward because of it. The 6’6” wing is a strong downhill attacker who can get to the cup off the bounce and finishes well around the rim, he can step out and knock down shots from deep when he’s open and he has all the tools to be a very good defender as well.
