October 1st is right around the corner and that means the high school basketball season is almost here! While October will bring plenty of preseason preview content throughout the site, September is about the individuals after the summer has wrapped up. Earlier this month, we started our ranking updates with the 2025 class. This week, we’re putting a spotlight on the 2024 rankings with the Top 60 juniors in the state. In case you missed it, you can check out the full rankings RIGHT HERE. In this post, we put a spotlight on four prospects who are on the rise moving forward. Either they’ve jumped up in a big way in the recent ranking update, or they are primed for big junior seasons this winter.
Adonis Holiman – Guard – McAlester
(Ranked #19 Overall)
During the recent ranking update, McAlester guard Adonis Holiman stayed pat at #19 overall in the class. So the easy question is how is he considered a prospect on the rise? Well, we’re bending the rules here when it comes to Holiman and this is more of a prediction than it is a current breakdown. Holiman is looking to fill a new role this season with his older brother now graduated and moved on to the next level. When you compare Adonis to his older brother, it’s easy to see why he could be primed for a breakout season. Adante was one of the best scorers in the state over the last few seasons. McAlester is going to need a new face to fill that role. Adonis has the chance to fill that role and lead the Buffaloes to new heights this winter. McAlester is a team on the rise as well after a strong season last year. With Adonis and senior wing Cole Allen Cole Allen 6'5" | SG McAlester | 2023 State OK leading the way, they’re a dark horse to watch in Class 5A.

OK
– Guard – Caddo
(Ranked #7 Overall – Moved Up 7 Spots)
Caddo guard DJ Dill DJ Dill 6'2" | CG Caddo | 2024 State OK first got on our radar during the state tournament in March when he put on a show in Oklahoma City. He followed that up with a very strong offseason and performed really well at various Prep Hoops events. Dill is one of the best small school prospects in the state, regardless of class. We knew Dill had the potential to be pretty special prior to the state tournament when we saw that he had already eclipsed the 1,000 point mark as a sophomore. Dill is incredibly explosive at the guard position but he’s also in complete control when he drives to the basket. He can score from just about anywhere on the floor and the ball doesn’t just stop moving when it gets to him. He can get his teammates involved with ease and doesn’t just take over a game unless it’s the last option. And when it’s that time for him to take over, he’s shown the ability to do it against all levels of competition.
Isaiah McLemore – Wing – Owasso
(Ranked #26 Overall – Moved Up 13 Spots)
We’ve mentioned it a few times already and will continue to do so over the next two months. Class 6A on the east side is going to be completely wide open this winter. The Owasso Rams have a good shot to be one of those top teams with an impressive roster full of experience and talented youth. One of the experienced players returning is wing Isaiah McLemore, who is expected to fill a new role moving forward following the graduation of a few playmakers. McLemore had a really strong sophomore season and was one of Owasso’s best shooters. At 6’4, McLemore shot 53 percent from beyond the arc, which is an insane clip. That number will more than likely go down as he’s expected to put up more shots this season but still, it’s pretty safe to say that McLemore has the potential to be one of the top shooters in the Tulsa area. McLemore has had an excellent offseason and there are legitimate expectations for him going into this season.
Micheal Graham

– Guard – Southeast
(Ranked #15 Overall – Moved Up 20 Spots)
Our final prospect on the rise is Micheal Graham Micheal Graham 6'1" | PG Del City | 2024 State OK from Southeast. The Spartans made a run to the Class 5A semifinals back in March and they are a serious contender to make another run this winter. Despite teams like Del City and Memorial being heavy favorites, you have to take Southeast seriously considering the talent they return in their backcourt. In addition to Graham, the Spartans also return Ladainian Fields Ladainian Fields 6'2" | CG Del City | 2024 OK , who’s a top ten prospect within the 2024 class. That duo is also one to watch in football as well but Graham has had an excellent nine months. He helped lead the Spartans to the state tournament and has had a very strong offseason with travel ball and then at various team camps. Graham jumped up 20 spots in the recent ranking update and we’re looking forward to seeing more of him this winter. There is a lot to like about the Spartans heading into this upcoming season and Graham is just one of them.
