Now at Del City, Fields has enjoyed one of the more successful high school careers of any guard in the Class of 2024. He’s one of the fastest players in the state, often looking like a blur with the ball in his hands. Fields was a key part of back to back Class 5A State Tournament teams at OKC Southeast. The electric guard uses the same game changing speed on the football field to be a dynamic DB and is currently committed to TCU in football.

The athletic dual sport guard proved he’s a winner with a furious close to one of Chaos’ contests. The entire game, he was all over the court with his elite speed and quickness. While also showing off the toughness accustomed to football players by playing bigger than his size. To complete the comeback, he popped up for an offensive rebound and was fouled. He converted the free throw to tie, then Chaos’ pressure defense caused a quick turnover and score for the win in the final moments.

is one of the best overall athletes in the state’s 2024 class. In addition to being one of the top rated prospects in basketball, he’s also one of the top rated prospects in football as well. The thing that has really stood out to us about Fields this season when we’ve seen him in person is his speed with the basketball. There are few players in the state that are faster than Fields with the ball in his hand and stay in control. Fields continues to be an intriguing prospect but he’s not alone.

that got them going on the offensive end of the floor. The Southeast dual-sport star would finish in double figures and did a good job on the defensive side of the floor as well. On offense, Fields was at his best when he was attacking the basket and he could get to the basket in the blink of an eye. But similar to Reveles at El Reno, Fields did most of his damage in the scoring department in the first two quarters as he was sidelined with foul trouble for a good chunk of the fourth quarter.

would finish with 12 points with all of them coming after halftime. Fields was automatic around the rim and he did a great job of cleaning up with rebounds and giving the Spartans second chance opportunities. From my vantage point of watching Fields, I was really amazed at his ability to find the absolute perfect angle on a shot or a pass that didn’t seem to be there. Fields was really impressive to watch from that standpoint.

After breaking out as a sophomore, Fields will be one of the most dynamic players in the state thanks to his blazing end to end speed. He’s a terror on defense because of that athletic ability and motor. While he often feasts in transition, he’s also able to break down defenses in the halfcourt with his quick first step and strength to finish at the rim.
