Del City took on Noble in the regional final on Saturday. The two teams exchanged blows throughout, with the game tied 30 all late in the third quarter. Fleming attacked with his left hand and got the hoop and the harm to spark his team. From there, he forced a turnover on the defensive end and pitched it ahead for a fastbreak assist. Fleming engineered another fastbreak basket with a no look pass at the foul line, pushing the lead to 4-34 early in the fourth quarter. The sophomore continued to attack in the final quarter, with an impressive spin move and left-handed finish through contact. The second part of DC’s tough duo that helped them force overtime against one off the best teams in the state. Starting to be a true rim rocker when given the lane in transition to explode for highlight reel dunks. He often creates those opportunities with his relentless effort as a defender and running the floor. Brings similar pace, quickness and toughness as a half court slasher. Has improved his jumper a bit. Continuing to develop there will be crucial for Del City’s chances of success this season.

Known as a scrappy defender and athletic slasher, Fleming showed that he’s been working on his jumper. He hit a couple threes during a late in the second quarter run. Which saw the Eagles turn what was a close game into a double digit halftime lead. It was more of the same in the second half. The sensational sophomore would put up 29 points in the win. If Thursday’s improved shooting becomes a trend for Fleming, he could become the go to option for Del City. Who currently look to be the best 5A team on the west side of the state.

It’s somewhat hard to pinpoint an exact position for Fleming. He’s simply an all around hooper. Who produces! Gets after it on the defensive end, and is a handful to keep out of the paint on offense. Good body control on drives, has a nice spin move that adds to his driving ability. Along with forcing steals, was also active as a rebounder on both ends of the court. A connector too, as he handed a few assists in the game watched too. Fleming simply finds ways to impact the game.

Already plays strong and fast, will have a chance to make an early impact for Del City. Slashing wing, with crafty finishing ability. Motor runs hot on both ends of the floor, leading to second chance and transition points. Type of prospect who hits the ground running with an identity as a bulldog type guard/wing as a strong foundation. Then will continue to add more scoring skill to that promising foundation.

earned a spot in top-6 with elite play finishing ability and a non-stop motor. He battled for second-chance points all day and never backed down from physicality. Fleming has a quick first step and long strides that he used to slice through defenses on his way to the rim
