We’ll take a look at some of the standouts from all over the country, and you can see all of the CP3 Rising Stars games on The CBG Live Network.
Here we take a look at some of the standouts from Texas and California!
Brayden Burries | 6’4” WG | Riverside Poly (CA) 2025
Burries was very impressive throughout the camp on the way to the top 20 game, and he has a lot of intriguing physical and athletic tools that are far beyond his years and a skill set that should become more consistent as he gets older and develops more. He’s a big time athlete who plays well above the rim and has flair to his finishes when he gets downhill, he can put it on the deck and attack in straight lines or create space in the midrange and when he gets it going he can knock it down from deep as well off the catch.
Demarco Johnson | 6’4” PG | Southern California Academy (CA) 2025
Johnson was on elf the more impressive lead guards that I saw at the event and he has a mix of size, athleticism and a very smooth game to go along with it as he can both run the show and fill it up himself off the bounce. He gets to spots effortlessly and is able to read the defense and make good passes when the defense collapses, he can knock down shots from multiple levels off the bounce and he showed athleticism as a finisher around the rim too.
Tee Bartlett | 6’10” C | Coronado (NV) 2025
One of the biggest players at the camp, Bartlett was an absolute load in the paint and he showed the ability to dominate in the paint on both ends of the floor and he’s likely still growing into his body which is scary to think about He’s a load in the paint and quick for his size as he can spin off and finish with both hands in traffic, he can run the floor well for his size and he can protect the paint as well.
Kash Polk Kash Polk 6'9" | PF Argyle | 2025 State #145 Nation TX | 6’8” PF | Argyle (TX) 2025
Polk was very impressive with his mix of skill for his size and his production and versatility on both ends of the floor. He’s a classic stretch four with a little bit of new school to him as well as he moves well and can put it on the deck on the perimeter to attack the lane, he can knock down shots from deep consistently and has the size to shoot over smaller defenders and he can guard multiple positions and rebounds well as well.
Michael Williams | 6’0” PG | Hillcrest (TX) 2025
Williams was another impressive young guard to watch, as even within a camp setting where most are out to get their own Williams showed that he can pick his spots and score it but also made others better and showed he can run the show. He’s a smooth guard who can get to spots with his handle and change of pace, he runs the pick-and-roll well and can see the floor and deliver all the passes and he has an overall great feel for the game.
Hudson Greer Hudson Greer 6'7" | SG Austin Lake Travis | 2025 State #50 Nation TX | 6’6” PF | Lake Travis (TX) 2025
Greer is one of the more intriguing long term prospects that I saw as he has a solid skillset that should continue to improve but he really impressed in the open floor and around the rim with his athleticism and big time finishing ability. He is an explosive leaper that can way up top and make plays others simply can’t make, he can step outside and knock down shots consistently and he plays with a good motor running the floor and making plays defensively.
