Continue ReadingMade a nice number of plays on both ends of the floor, knocking down shots from three-point land and using his height to score when he attacked the basket. On the defensive end he was solid, blocking shots at a nice rate without fouling but what really impressed us was how hard he played from start to finish. He doesn’t take plays off and understands how to use his physical tools to make an impact on games.

His ability to convert difficult shots was one of the first attributes that we noticed. He scored over taller opponents, knocked down some heavily contested shots, and was able to draw a solid number of fouls throughout the event. His on-ball defense was impressive, he has good lateral quickness, quick hands and does a nice job of anticipating where his opponent is going.
He’s still finding his way on the court, but he provided some much-needed interior presence on both ends of the floor and led his team in scoring in their matchup with CBB. Constantly running the floor, finishing inside the paint, rebounding and blocking/contesting shots were all things that we saw from him throughout the matchup.

A player that led all scorers in the division at over 20 PPG, he only got better as the event went on, saving his best performance for last with a 31 Point game against App Elite. He showed that he can beat players off the dribble, knock down shots from outside and displayed a very nice overall IQ for the game.

We love how fundamentally sound of a player he is, he displayed a nice IQ when he was put in pick and roll situations, understanding when to dive to the basket and when to pop out for the perimeter shot. He has good shooting form from outside but also looked very comfortable when playing inside the paint.

His team struggled throughout the weekend, but he was one of the bright spots, averaging over 14 Points per contest. He played up an age division but looked fully comfortable going against older competition and displayed the ability to score from multiple levels at a nice rate.
