Murdock went over 1,000 career points this season for the Warriors. Kai has a quick set of feet to be disruptive on the defensive end of the floor to block shots. Murdock feels comfortable bringing the rock up the floor at times and knocking down the 3-ball on the perimeter.

Murdock was playing against a high school teammate and some neighborhood kids in the battle vs Lowcountry ‘ last=”] Storm. Kai really likes to set up shop out on the perimeter these days. He has the ability to play inside-out on the floor.

Kai can stroke the 3-ball and shows good versatility to defend multiple players on the floor. At times today Kai was seen bringing the ball up the floor and in transition. Murdock played this past season at Wando HS after starting off his career at Cathedral Academy with Simmons.

Made a nice number of plays on both ends of the floor, knocking down shots from three-point land and using his height to score when he attacked the basket. On the defensive end he was solid, blocking shots at a nice rate without fouling but what really impressed us was how hard he played from start to finish. He doesn’t take plays off and understands how to use his physical tools to make an impact on games.
