The summer is winding down as August has just started and the upcoming school year is around the corner. The rising junior class had a strong summer, especially on the wing as they rose their stocks in a big way. Here are the 2024 wing summer stock risers.

[player_tooltip player_id='1406993' first='Anthony' last='Akande'], 6'4 SG Arts

Akande had a huge summer for the [program_tooltip program_id='2078569' first='Jersey' last='Force'] as he made an impact at both ends of the floor. The 6'4 guard attacks the basket with a purpose as he is a strong finisher and is unafraid of contact. Akande is more than just a slasher as he can also score in the mid-range and make opponents pay for giving him space on the perimeter. He is a solid rebounder and can defend multiple positions on the floor. Akande is a two-way guard prospect who consistently made plays throughout the summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='1269775' first='Ebrahim' last='Kaba'], 6'7 G/F Peddie

Kaba had a breakout summer for the Falcons and the NJ Roadrunners as he played with confidence on the offensive end. The lanky 6'7 wing has a smooth release on his jumper and can knock down triples in bunches when given space on the perimeter. Kaba is able to get to his spot on the floor and rises up nicely on his jumper. He has a nice handle and is able to finish around the basket. Kaba is a sharpshooting wing whose ability to knock down shots from the perimeter will help his stock in a big way.

[player_tooltip player_id='1213572' first='Ben' last='Kipnis'], 6'2 SG Holmdel

Kipnis' collegiate future will most likely be in the backcourt but has the potential to play on the wing as well. The 6'2 guard has a nice shooting stroke and sets his before he shoots. Kipnis moves well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself for open jumpers and layups. He is a good passer and is an underrated defender. Kipnis is set for a strong 2022-23 season with his ability to knock down triples and move without the ball in his hands.

[player_tooltip player_id='1153991' first='Gio' last='Panzini'], 6'5 SF Red Bank Catholic

Panzini had a big summer with [program_tooltip program_id='2078590' first='Team' last='Rio'] University as he showed off this versatility. The 6'5 wing is at his best going to the basket as he is a strong finisher and does not mind drawing contact in the paint. Panzini is shooting with more confidence from behind the arc and has a good release on his jumper. He rips down rebounds at both ends of the floor and has the length to defend multiple positions on the floor. Panzini makes plays at both ends of the floor, which should help his stock in a big way.

[player_tooltip player_id='1456835' first='Jaiden' last='McDonald'], 6'4 SF Scotch Plains-Fanwood

McDonald had a good summer with PPA Elite, and it should translate into the winter. The 6'4 forward knows how to get to the basket and is a good finisher in the paint. McDonald has a nice touch in the mid-range and moves well without the ball in his hands. He fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor and is an underrated rebounder. McDonald is an athletic forward prospect who is in line for a big junior campaign.
