Elijah Peters Elijah Peters 6'3" | CG Union Catholic | 2024 State NJ , 6’3 CG JP Stevens
Peters had a solid sophomore campaign for the Hawks and should get more looks on the offensive end this season. The 6’3 guard knows how to get to the basket and does not mind contact. Peters knows how to get to his spot on the floor and rises up nicely on his jumper. He is capable of running the offense in a pinch and can defend both guard spots. Peters’ ability to impact the game in a variety of ways is something that will help his stock in a big way this winter.
Michael Van Raaphorst Michael Van Raaphorst 6'3" | SG Delbarton | 2024 State NJ , 6’3 SG Delbarton
Van Raaphorst had a strong summer with Unity Legends, which should carry over into the winter. The 6’3 guard has a nice handle, which he uses to get to the rim and can finish through contact. Van Raaphorst has a nice release on his jumper and sets his feet before he shoots. He moves well without the ball in his hands and is a solid rebounder. Van Raaphorst will be one to watch in Morris County as he gets more looks in the offense.
Tye Dorset Tye Dorset 6'3" | SG Lenape | 2024 State NJ , 6’2 SG Lenape
Dorset started for the South Jersey Group 4 champions last season and should see a big increase in his production this season. The 6’2 guard has a clean shooting stroke as he wastes little motion and can get hot from distance in a hurry. Dorset is more than just a shooter as he can also get into the paint and finish around the basket. He makes good passes with the ball in his hands and uses his length to get deflections on defense. Dorset will be looking to help Lenape retain its sectional title as he should get more looks on the offensive end in 2022-23.
Devin Artis Devin Artis 5'10" | PG Pocono Mt. West | 2024 State PA , 5’10 PG West Side
Artis is the Rough Riders’ second leading returning scorer and should have a strong junior campaign. The 5’10 guard has a quick first step, which he uses to blow by his defender and finish around the basket. Artis knows how to get into the paint and has a nice touch on his floater. He runs the offense efficiently and is a good on-ball defender. Artis is a quick, point guard prospect who should have the ball in his hands more in 2022-23.
Keith Brown Jr., 6’1 PG Life Center Academy
Brown Jr. will be one to track in 2022-23 with his ability to control the offense. The 6’1 guard is rarely sped up by on-ball pressure and makes flashy passes in both the half court and transition. Brown Jr. uses his handle to beat his defender off the dribble and rises up nicely on his jumper. He sets his feet before he shoots and slides his feet on the defensive end. Brown Jr. is a true floor general who should make plays with the ball in his hands throughout the season for Life Center.
