[player_tooltip player_id='854882' first='Marcus' last='Brown'] - Northside Christian Academy

Brown will be a new face to know with Northside Christian Academy alongside his brother, Jahmir. He's a prospect that brings energy and length on the defensive end of the floor and has an opportunity to emerge as the primary scorer in the rotation. He holds offers from North Carolina A&T and Catawba currently. Look for that to grow as he moves into the Northside Christian Academy rotation this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='854899' first='Trey' last='Horton'] - Providence Day School

Horton is one of the more underrated shooters from the state of North Carolina, ranked No. 67 currently in the 2023 class. He's improved his ability to battle down low for rebounds and keep plays alive with tough finishes in the paint while maintaining his ability to knock down shots on all three levels. UTEP and Columbia are his lone offers currently, but look for that list to grow a bit during his final season of high school ball with Providence Day.

[player_tooltip player_id='1014990' first='Micah' last='Jones'] - Holly Springs High

Jones is a familiar face with [program_tooltip program_id='2078529' first='Strong' last='Center'] Select as a point guard that can also fill it up from deep and off the bounce. He's developed his ability to attack off two feet and score off the catch tremendously over the summer months. He's ranked No. 221 currently in the class after missing time with injury, but he's certainly due for a bump in the rankings update coming up in September. Navy and Mount Olive have offered the emerging floor general as he looks to lead the Holly Springs offense in 2022-23.

[player_tooltip player_id='1379484' first='Randall' last='Pettus'] - Bessemer City High

Pettus is a prospect set to have a big senior season after posting big numbers as a junior with Bessemer City. He put up 26.4 ppg and has proven to be quite the gamechanger with his ability to make things happen as a defender and scorer. Northern Kentucky is his latest offer, adding to Fort Valley State and Livingstone College. His ability to make plays at the floor general spot is set to turn heads entering his senior season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1218085' first='Jaiden' last='Thompson'] - Central Cabarrus High

Thompson is He holds an offer from Western Carolina but that list is sure to grow during the high school season after he produced 19.8 ppg, 5.9 rpg, 3.6 apg and 3.6 spg as they went 30-1 before his squad fell in the Final Four of the NCHSAA State Playoffs to West Charlotte. He's a dynamic two-way guard that's quietly earned the "guard" tag with his ability to do multiple things in the backcourt. He's set to a have strong senior campaign alongside the Daniel's twins at Central Cabarrus High in 2022-23.
