Deuce Burkes Deuce Burkes 6'3" | PG Milwaukee Academy Of Science | 2026 State WI – 2026 – PG – Mac Irvin Fire
Burkes plays up in the 15U level and really handles himself well against older competition. The incoming freshman for Oak Creek plays with a quiet confidence about him. Mac Irvin Fire has a lot of talented athletes, but Burkes definitely makes his presence felt. Loved how when the opposition turned up the heat defensively and made them play longer in possessions, Burkes took control, broke down his man, and made something positive happen.
Latrevion Fenderson Latrevion Fenderson 6'4" | SF The Prairie School | 2025 State WI – 2025 – SF – Wisconsin Playground Club
Fenderson is up next at Racine St. Catherine’s. This is a good-looking 6-foot-4 slashing wing who can finish tough around the rim. Fenderson also has some 3-and-D ability as a wing who can space the floor and knock down shots. On the other end, he wants the smoke defensively. He’s a guy you can line up against the other team’s top player to get under their skin and make them work for everything they get.
Keaton Frisch Keaton Frisch 6'7" | SF Waunakee | 2024 State WI – 2024 – F – Wisconsin Playground Club
Frisch did two things really well in Chicago — block shots and shoot the ball. PGC doesn’t have an overly big team. That forces Frisch to play a little out of his position. Thought he did an outstanding job as a rim protector, sending shots back with authority. On the offensive end, the 6-foot-8 forward can float around the perimeter and feed off dribble penetration. Still not anywhere near his ceiling, Frisch was one of the fastest rising prospects in the class of 2024 and the long, athletic forward is still oozing with potential.
Demerius Shakur Demerius Shakur 6'2" | CG Martin Luther | 2023 State WI – 2023 – PG – Wisconsin Playground Club
Shakur played some of his best ball down in Chicago. The Martin Luther product usually brings other things to the floor besides scoring, but he was definitely more efficient, effective, and aggressive when it came to putting the ball in the hole. Shakur has never been a great shooter, but was knocking down his 3’s at a high clip. He was also deadly once he got into the paint, able to finish around defenders or put home a beautiful floater. Love Shakur’s decision making in the pick n’ roll. On this PGC team, he doesn’t have an ideal forward to pair with, but have seen how dangerous Shakur is when he plays with a pick n’ pop big.
Logan Rindfleisch Logan Rindfleisch 6'5" | SF Wisconsin Lutheran | 2024 State WI – 2024 – SF – Closed Gyms
I know he hasn’t cracked the lineup at a very good Wisconsin Lutheran program yet, but this is still a prospect I like a lot. His brother was a late bloomer that picked up Division 2 offers and wound up at UW-Oshkosh. Wouldn’t be shocked if Rindfleisch is on a similar path. He’s not as big as Jonah (6-9), but Logan (6-5) does have some intriguing length, athleticism, and versatility. Rindfleisch can do some bouncy things above the rim, he’s also a surprisingly good mid-range scorer, able to connect off-balance. Wouldn’t call him a point wing, but Rindfleisch does bring the ball up the floor in transition and will be the primary decision maker at times. In the halfcourt, saw Rindfleisch able to drive around smaller, faster players, which was something that was exciting as well for such a raw talent.

William Whorton William Whorton 6'8" | PF Rufus King | 2023 State WI – 2023 – F – Wisconsin Playground Club
Whorton continues to chip away at his high ceiling and march towards a top 10 ranking in the 2023 class. An extremely raw talent, Whorton has come a long way in two years. He’s developed a reliable jumper, even from 3-point range. Whorton’s lanky body type makes you think he’s soft, but that’s just not the case. The Milwaukee King product has a little junkyard dog in him and he’ll get after it on the glass and as a shot blocker. Maybe the best leaper in this 2023 class, Whorton runs the floor like a deer and can make momentum-changing plays in transition.
