Continue ReadingIn the first game of the day, he came off the bench and provided instant offense for his team. He scored a quick 11 points in the first few minutes that he was in the game, scoring from multiple levels but also rebounding the ball at a high rate. He plays through contact well, can defend in the paint and on the perimeter and competes at a high level.
We love what he brings to the table from the Guard spot as he brings good size and wingspan which allows him to make plays that smaller guards may have issues with. He showcased some good ballhandling skills, got to his spots without much of an issue and got his shot off easily regardless of how he was being defended.

He brought a nice amount of competitiveness on both ends of the floor and seemed to get better as the day went on. On the defensive end of the floor, he contained his man without fouling and didn’t hesitate to make whatever play his team needed. On the offensive end, he knocked down the three-point shot with efficiency.

One of the newest members of the Goldsboro HS squad, he still is finding his way but showed some flashes of what he can be. He’s a strong Guard that displayed some impressive athleticism and will be one to keep an eye on this season as he becomes more comfortable.
A player that didn’t necessarily pass the eye test when he stepped on the floor, he slowly but surely found a way to make plays for his team as the day went on. He gave good effort on the defensive side of the floor and used his speed to get out into transition for buckets.

His team took home the Camp Championship and he made some of the small plays that often get overlooked. Setting good screens, battling for loose balls and rebounds on just about every possession, he found ways to impact the game besides scoring.
