- I was surprised by how easy Isaiah Elohim 6’5 SG was able to get to the rim – Unstoppable when he was going downhill, especially to his strong hand. He wasn’t bad when was going left either. Was difficult for anyone to stay in front of the 2024 guard in either direction.
- Tahaad Pettiford 5’11 PG 2024 checks the freak athlete box – The 5’11 high flyer was all over that rim. He went Eastbay for a layup and then went Eastbay for a dunk.
- I’m surprised the rims are even standing after the weekend Pharaoh Compton 6’6 PF Compass Prep had. – The 6’6 high flyer formerly of Spring Valley in Las Vegas ran jumped and dunked all week. Big-time stockriser from the event.
- Freakish doesn’t begin to describe Xavier Booker 6’11 C Cathedral – The size, length, and athleticism all checkout. Booker was good all week and capped it with an appearance in the Top 30 game.
- I thought DJ Thomas DJ Thomas 6'2" | PG Liberty | 2024 #19 Nation NV Jr 6’1 PG Liberty and Carey Booth Carey Booth 6'8" Cherry Creek | 2023 CO 6’9 PF Cherry Creek capped off solid weeks. Thomas played with his normal PG wizardry handling and hitting. Booth changed ends fluidly and showed good athleticism in the game. Thought both were quietly efficient throughout the week.
