Prospects across the state are trying to make their marks on the AAU circuit, especially the 2025 class who are looking to standout during their first varsity AAU circuit. Here are the 2025 prospects who could turn heads this spring and summer.
Char Yeiy Char Yeiy 6'9" | PF Blair Academy | 2025 NJ , 6’9 PF Blair Academy
Yeiy is one of the more intriguing prospects to watch as he can impact the game in a variety of ways. The lanky 6’9 forward runs the floor hard, creating easy layups and baskets for himself in transition. Yeiy is capable of finishing around the basket and is gaining more confidence with his jumper. He alters a bunch of shots around the basket with his length and fights for rebounds on both ends. Yeiy has a ton of upside and should put it on display this summer with UPlay Canada.
Jamir McNeil Jamir McNeil 6'0" | PG Middle Township | 2025 State NJ , 6’0 CG Middle Township
McNeil had a strong debut season for the Tigers, which should carry over into the spring and summer for the Shore Shots. The 6’0 guard attacks the basket with a purpose as he is a strong finisher and does not mind contact. McNeil can also score in the mid-range and is capable of running the offense in a pinch. He has long arms, which gives him the ability to defend both backcourt spots. McNeil is a skilled guard prospect who should make an impact this spring and summer.
Myles Blackley Myles Blackley 6'3" | SG Immaculate Conception | 2025 State NJ , 6’3 SG Summit
Blackley has gotten off to a good start this spring with Unity Legends and it should continue in the summer. The 6’3 guard knows how to get to his spot in the half court and rises up with confidence on his jumper. Blackley is a good finisher around the basket and knows how to draw contact. He is a strong rebounder for a guard and makes plays on the defensive end. Blackley is a two-way wing who has the potential to see his stock rise during the summer.
Luke Kennevan Luke Kennevan 6'4" | SG Camden Catholic | 2025 State NJ , 6’3 SG Camden Catholic
Kennevan is a prospect to keep an eye on as he should carve a role in the Team Final backcourt. The 6’3 guard has a smooth release on his jumper and can knock down jumpers in bunches. Kennevan moves exceptionally well off the ball, creating open jumpers and layups for himself. He is an underrated passer and rips down rebounds on both ends of the floor. Kennevan’s ability to knock down jumpers from behind the arc is something that will help his stock in a big way this summer.
Malcom Bragg, SF Newark Tech
Bragg has been having a good spring for Train’d 2 Go, which should help him in the summer. He attacks the basket strong as he is unafraid of contact and is a solid finisher. Bragg shows a nice release on his free throws and is becoming more consistent with his jumper. He is tough to box out on both ends of the floor and is an underrated defender. Bragg’s ability to make plays around the basket is something that will help him this summer.
