did a good job of operating as a floor general and getting the offense set. Finding the open man both in the half court and in transition as well as keeping the ball moving, Hudson did a good of distributing the ball effectively.

Hudson is an elite defender who can make plays on the offensive end. He will pick anyone up full-court and has quick hands and instincts to get after the ball. On the offensive end, he uses his 6’1″ size to get into the heart of the defense to finish around the rim. He can absorb the contact well giving him the best chance to finish the and-one play. Hudson will look to get to his spots within the flow of an offense as he does not force any bad shots.

Hudson is a player who will look to pick up his assignments full court throughout a game leaving little room for players to go anywhere on him. He defends the fastbreak well because of his speed and quickness to come up from behind to poke the ball away. Hudson has great timing on when to shoot the gap in the passing lanes. His ability to trap or double-team players in bad situations is how he comes up with those loose balls.

Hudson is a player that can make any shot put in front of him and he does it in a way in which defenses find it difficult to keep up with him. His crossover is how he will create most of his space for shots. Hudson will break down his defender and then look to hit the pull-up midrange shot. He is not afraid to put a body on someone and will look to seek contact in the painted area to draw more fouls.

Hudson gets most of his points from inside the painted area. He has a strong upper body that allows him to finish through contact with anyone. With that strong upper body comes his quick first step off the dribble which gives him that opportunity to drive into the paint and score at will. Hudson likes to push the pace and play fast as he is always moving the ball up the floor to keep the defense from getting set. His defensive skills are amazing being a lockdown defender making him a legit two-way player with only more room to grow heading into next season.
