The 2027 class took a hit over the weekend as [player_tooltip player_id='2504903' first='Dylan' last='Cowell'] transferred from Pingry to Blair Academy, reclassifying into the 2028 class as well. The power forward group still has talent that can make an impact during the summer and fall seasons. Here are the 2027 top NJSIAA power forwards.

[player_tooltip player_id='2201948' first='Asante' last='Jones'], 6'9 Linden

Jones is the top NJSIAA power forward prospect in the 2027 class and will look to put that on display over the next couple of months. The 6'9 forward can put the ball on the floor and can knock down open jumpers from behind the arc. Jones can also get position in the paint and has a nice touch around the basket. He skies for rebounds on both ends of the floor and is an underrated shot-blocker. Jones' ability to control the paint at both ends of the floor is something that will help his stock in a big way this summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2201962' first='Andrew' last='Iduh'], 6'8 Union Catholic

Iduh has the ability to play either the four or five spot, which makes him an intriguing prospect to track in the class. The 6'8 forward runs the floor hard, creating easy baskets for himself in transition. Iduh has a soft touch around the rim and sets good screens in the half court. He is tough to box out on both ends of the floor and holds his ground on the defensive end. Iduh is a physical forward prospect who should continue to make an impact at both ends of the floor this summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2628256' first='Ryan' last='Law'], 6'7 Glen Ridge

Law's stock has had a great spring and is looking to build off of that this summer. The 6'7 forward has a good face-up game as he can get to the rim off the bounce and can finish through contact. Law knows how to get position in the paint and his range extends out to the three-point line. He rips down rebounds on both ends of the floor and uses his length to influence shots on the defensive end. Law is a skilled forward prospect who should continue to put his game on full display this summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2202015' first='Azyris' last='Richmond'], 6'7 Camden

Richmond has the potential to shoot up the rankings as he should get more touches in the half court. The 6'7 forward knows how to get open in the dunker spot and can finish with authority above the rim. Richmond can also put the ball on the floor and rarely forces shots in the half court. He fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor and slides his feet on the defensive end. Richmond is a lanky forward prospect whose ability to score in the paint and play on the perimeter will help his stock in a big way during the next couple of months.

[player_tooltip player_id='2443162' first='Chase' last='Martin'], 6'5 Bordentown

Martin had a big junior campaign and should carry that form over into this summer. The 6'5 forward uses his strong frame to get position in the paint and is unafraid of drawing contact down low. Martin can also put the ball on the floor and has a high release on his free throws. He skies for rebounds on both ends of the floor and uses his athleticism to make plays on the defensive end. Martin is a gritty forward prospect who should continue to make plays at both ends of the floor throughout the summer months.

Other Prospects to Track:

[player_tooltip player_id='2628174' first='Kanye' last='Perkins'], 6'7 Middle Township

[player_tooltip player_id='2619576' first='Logan' last='Cleveland'], 6'4 Manasquan

[player_tooltip player_id='2628253' first='Tyler' last='Hager'], 6'7 Red Bank Catholic

[player_tooltip player_id='3544207' first='Boresa' last='Jawula'], 6'6 South Plainfield

[player_tooltip player_id='2896577' first='Eian' last='Rogers'], 6'6 Union Catholic
