2027 Top NJSIAA Power Forwards After Dylan Cowell’s Transfer

The power forward group still has talent that can make an impact during the summer and fall seasons. Here are the 2027 top NJSIAA power forwards.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2201948' first='Asante' last='Jones'], 6'9 Linden</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Jones is the top NJSIAA power forward prospect in the 2027 class and will look to put that on display over the next couple of months. The 6'9 forward can put the ball on the floor and can knock down open jumpers from behind the arc. Jones can also get position in the paint and has a nice touch around the basket. He skies for rebounds on both ends of the floor and is an underrated shot-blocker. The 6'8 forward runs the floor hard, creating easy baskets for himself in transition. Iduh has a soft touch around the rim and sets good screens in the half court. He is tough to box out on both ends of the floor and holds his ground on the defensive end. The 6'7 forward has a good face-up game as he can get to the rim off the bounce and can finish through contact. Law knows how to get position in the paint and his range extends out to the three-point line. He rips down rebounds on both ends of the floor and uses his length to influence shots on the defensive end. The 6'7 forward knows how to get open in the dunker spot and can finish with authority above the rim. Richmond can also put the ball on the floor and rarely forces shots in the half court. He fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor and slides his feet on the defensive end.
