Here’s a look at some of the standouts from teams on the east coast.
Jaylen Robinson Jaylen Robinson 6'6" | SF DME Academy | 2024 State FL | 6’6” WF | SE Elite 2024
Robinson was a very impressive young prospect for SE Elite that should see his recruitment take off as one of the top prospects in a loaded Florida 2024 class. At 6’6” he has a great frame with long arms and is an athletic finisher around the rim, he impacts the game on the glass and on the defensive end and he’s a versatile three level scorer who can get to the free throw line as well. He seems like he’s just scratching the surface with how good he can be moving forward and will be a guy to keep an eye on.
Mikel Brown | 5’11” PG | SE Elite 2025
Brown is one of the youngest guards you would find on the 17U level at 3SSB, but the SE Elite guard showed he not only belongs but will be very special moving forward. He has poise and IQ well beyond his years as a playmaker, he’s very shifty off the bounce and plays with great pace changing speeds and directions well and he sees the game a few plays ahead as a lead guard with the ball in his hands. He can knock down shots consistently from deep and touches the paint at will, and he makes everyone on his team better.
Kyle Greene | 6’2” PG | Upward Stars SE 3SSB 2024
Greene is another young guard to keep an eye on as the 3SSB Circuit continues and will be the guy that Upward Stars SE 3SSB tries to rebuild around. He’s a strong guard with a good frame that will continue to fill out, he can get wherever he wants off the bounce and plays well in the paint and through contact and he can score the ball efficiently from multiple levels. He’s a bulldog on both ends of the floor and still has tons of room to improve as he continues to develop.
Khali Horton Khali Horton 6'9" | SF Keystone Academy | 2023 State PA | 6’7” PF | Wildcat Select 2023
Horton is one of my favorite players I’ve seen over the last few years on the 3SSB Circuit, as the 6’7” power forward is the definition of the new age stretch four man. He’s big and strong enough to play in the post and he’s a long and athletic finisher in the paint, he can step out where he shoots the ball well from deep and can put it on the deck and get to spots off the bounce and he’s a good passer and rebounder as well. He creates mismatches every time he’s on the floor and he produces across the board in winning ways for his team.
Dellquan Warren Dellquan Warren 6'2" | PG Keystone Athletic Academy | 2024 #153 Nation PA | 6’0” PG | Wildcat Select 2024
Warren is toughness personified on the court, both in his demeanor and style of play as well as in his skillset and ability to produce and make his team better. The 6’0” guard is a dog on the defensive end and sets the tone on both ends of the floor, he has good speed and quickness and is shifty off the bounce and he’s able to create shots for himself and for other players. He’s the type of player you love to have on your team and hate to play against, as he is a nightmare to matchup with and will show you and let you know you can’t guard him.
