Jaylen RobinsonrnA 6-6 senior forward who transferred from Providence to DME Academy has a strong knack for making hustle plays on both ends of the floor. Robinson can find ways to score whether it’s beating the opposition off the dribble or scoring off the catch. On the defensive end, Robinson is a bouncy athlete where he can challenge shots at the front of the rim as well as out on the perimeter playing with a ton of length. Over the course of the off-season, Robinson has continued to improve as a ball-handler and perimeter scoring threat.

The 6-7 rising senior has transferred from Providence to DME Academy for the upcoming season. Robinson has a dangerous attack and can finish at the front of the rim with authority. He is explosive on dribble-drives using his athleticism where he is efficient at a high level. Robinson is also a beast on the glass where he rebounds exceptionally well on both ends of the floor and has quick feet. His outside range will look to improve this upcoming season as he gains more confidence shooting from the outside.

The 6-7 small forward is a versatile wing who continues to make his teammates better. He brings athleticism every single night and is constantly on the attack for the basket every time the ball is in his hands. Robinson plays with a ton of confidence and has continued to build consistency from beyond the arc.

This must have past beef with the rim throwing down some strong dunks. Robinson is a slasher that looks to body hunt at the rim. Looking at his physique you can see why he punishes the rim. Holding offers from Yale, George Mason, Mercer, Appalachian State, FAMU, Jacksonville University, Ohio, and USF. Showed his ability to defend at the perimeter. Great transition player that can get to the rim quickly. Crashed boards hard on both ends. Also have great timing on his cuts.

The 6-7 junior wing finished with a team-high 17 points and 8 rebounds in today’s 63-51 win over St. Petersburg in the 17th Annual Wally Keller Classic. Robinson got most of his baskets at the rim where he was catching interior passes. Robinson also went 5-of-8 from the free throw line in the win.
