<h5>The NCHSAA conference season is halfway through and the 2024 class is beginning to take shape. Here’s a look at some 2024 point guards in the 1A/2A East to keep eyes on.</h5>

<p>Kelly is a young floor general at West Columbus High that’s making his presence felt in the rotation. He’s posted 20.4 ppg, 6.2 rpg, 2.7 apg and 2.7 spg in the lineup at the lead guard spot as they’re 9-4 on the year so far. He’s a prospect with some potential in the 2024 class that’s worth keeping an eye on.</p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="1373746" first="Quay" last="Artis"] | 5’8 | Northside-Pinetown</h5>
<p>Artis is a young prospect over at Northside-Pinetown High that’s worth keeping an eye on with potential. He’s produced 11.1 ppg, 3.6 spg, 2.4 rpg and 1.5 apg at the lead guard role for them as they’re currently 7-3 on the year and looking to make a splash in conference action. He’s a new face to watch in the class with his ability.</p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="1104960" first="Brandon" last="Anderson"] | 6’2 | Wilson Prep</h5>
<p>Anderson has been one of a few prospects to keep an eye on in the Wilson Prep rotation. He’s averaging 10.2 ppg, 6.9 rpg and 4.0 apg while showing off his ability to make plays for himself and others on all three levels. He’s an electric guard to watch that does well to control the pace with the ball in his hands.</p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="1169577" first="Myron" last="McKoy"] | 5’8 | Heide Trask</h5>
<p>McKoy is another pace-setting floor general in NC’s 2024 class over at Heide Trask High. He’s putting up solid production in the Titans’ 2-1 start to conference action with 13.9 ppg, 3.1 rpg, 2.8 apg and 2.6 apg as a volume-shooting threat in their rotation. He’s knocked down 35 3-pointers and dished out 44 assists in his sophomore campaign.</p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="1373747" first="Cory" last="Barnes"] | 5’9 | North Johnston</h5>
<p>Barnes is another new face that’s worth keeping eyes on in the 2024 class. He’s producing 8.8 ppg, 4.9 apg and 1.8 rpg in the backcourt at the floor general. He’s got quickness and a solid handle with the ball in his hands that’s made him with keeping eyes on. </p>
