<h5>Heading into the Holiday break, we take a look at the NCISAA Top 10 Power Rankings and the top teams in the state of North Carolina.</h5>

<h5>10) United Faith Christian Academy (10-3)</h5>
<h6>Last Rank: 10th</h6>
<p>United Faith Christian Academy finds itself at the 10th spot once again after going 2-1 this past week, with victories over Piedmont Classical and Cape Fear Christian Academy and a 1-point loss to Greenfield School. In their most recent victory, [player_tooltip player_id="932129" first="Xavier" last="McKelvy"] and Marcus Wills continue to pace the offense with 26 points and 18 points, respectively. Willis is an unsigned senior guard with a ton of skills, he posted seven rebounds and five assists as well. They're a squad that continues to loom in the power rankings.</p>
<h5>9. Northside Christian Academy (10-5)</h5>

<p>The Northside Christian Academy Knights find themselves back in the NCISAA Top 10 Power Rankings following a strong victory over Trinity Academy Raleigh to open the John Wall Invitational. [player_tooltip player_id="854920" first="Wesley" last="Tubbs III"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1117609" first="Daniel" last="Lubamba"] are playing strong at just the right time for their squad and it's showing in the results. They'll face Ravenscroft on Monday as they look to take home a title over the holidays. [player_tooltip player_id="1278076" first="Antonio" last="Perkins"] is another name to keep an eye on as well.</p>
<h5>8. Trinity Academy Raleigh (9-2)</h5>

<p>Trinity Academy Raleigh drops a few spots in the NCISAA Power Rankings after falling to Northside Christian Academy in the John Wall Invitational. [player_tooltip player_id="848082" first="Noah" last="Ross"], [player_tooltip player_id="838046" first="Sam" last="Perez"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1014991" first="Kevon" last="Vanderhorst"] are a trio to keep an eye on for this squad. When they're firing on all cylinders, they're a squad that's hard to stop. Keep an eye on them when conference play begins as an early favorite. </p>
<h5>7. Providence Day (9-4)</h5>

<p>Providence Day remains in the Top 10 at the seventh spot in the NCISAA Power Rankings despite going 1-1 since the last edition of rankings. They took a tough loss against West Charlotte High this past Tuesday but got a victory over Concord Academy on Monday. [player_tooltip player_id="854899" first="Trey" last="Horton"] and Riley Allensapch are two 2023 prospects to keep eyes on while [player_tooltip player_id="848075" first="Quave" last="Propst-Allison"] and [player_tooltip player_id="848078" first="Bryce" last="Scott"] are unsigned seniors to track for this group.</p>
<h5>6. Gaston Day (11-1)</h5>

<p>Gaston Day School remains steady at the sixth position with two more victories Covenant Day and Calvary Day School to add to their record of 11-1. [player_tooltip player_id="854914" first="Callum" last="Richard"] had a strong game against Calvary Day School with 27 points and seven rebounds. Collin Fayed, [player_tooltip player_id="574463" first="Chris" last="Britt"] and [player_tooltip player_id="993656" first="Evan" last="Montanari"] combined for 36 points as well as the trio prove to be a formidable backcourt for opponents to handle. They're off to a 3-0 start in conference action with Cox Mill (12.28) and SouthLake Christian Academy (01/04) up next on the schedule.</p>
<h5>5. Wayne Country Day (14-2)</h5>

<p>Wayne Country Day School climbs into the Top 5 of the NCISAA Power Rankings following a big win over Greenfield School to take home the tournament championship. [player_tooltip player_id="1338306" first="Carlos" last="Vasquez"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1120961" first="Kayleb" last="Coles"] are faring well in the frontcourt while their backcourt of [player_tooltip player_id="1113673" first="Jordan" last="Cooper"] and [player_tooltip player_id="848089" first="Collin" last="Tanner"] have been equally as impressive. They're a young group that should challenge for a conference and state crown by the season's end. </p>
<h5>4. Greensboro Day School (15-2)</h5>
<h6>Last Rank: 1st</h6>
<p>Greensboro Day School finds itself at the fourth spot in the power rankings after taking their first two losses on the season in the City of Palms Classic this past week. [player_tooltip player_id="577888" first="Jaydon" last="Young"] is starting to find his stride once again and as he does, look for this team's profile to continue to rise. [player_tooltip player_id="577847" first="Nikolas" last="Graves"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1032837" first="C.J." last="Collins"] are two other names that are playing well too. They'll face Southeast Guilford on Tuesday to open the HAECO Invitational.</p>
<h5>3. Charlotte Latin (11-0)</h5>
<h6>Last Rank: 4th</h6>
<p>The Charlotte Latin Hawks remain unbeaten on the season at 12-0 following a convincing victory over Rabun Gap. [player_tooltip player_id="1336317" first="Brandon" last="Lavitt"], [player_tooltip player_id="854915" first="Sean" last="Rose"], [player_tooltip player_id="1219884" first="Ned" last="Hull"] and Daniel Haughton are a few of the names to keep an eye on with this squad. They each bring their own role to the table that's allowed for them to remain unbeaten headed into the holiday break. They'll travel to the St. Pius Christmas Tournament in Atlanta running from Dec. 28-30.</p>
<h5>2. The Burlington School (13-3)</h5>
<h6>Last Rank: 3rd</h6>
<p>The Burlington School climbs to the second spot of the NCISAA Top 10 Power Rankings following a convincing victory over Millbrook to open their first game in the John Wall Invitational. [player_tooltip player_id="1098355" first="Zion" last="Walker"] and [player_tooltip player_id="854890" first="Kobe" last="George"] are playing strong brands of basketball as are [player_tooltip player_id="1217074" first="Michael" last="Nwoko"] and [player_tooltip player_id="577871" first="Avion" last="Pinner"] in the frontcourt. They're a deep squad with a ton of potential to make a deep run in the NCISAA State Playoffs. They'll face Brewster Academy on Monday in their next game. </p>
<h5>1. Carmel Christian (14-0)</h5>
<h6>Last Rank: 2nd</h6>
<p>Carmel Christian School remains unbeaten on the season with [player_tooltip player_id="1008879" first="Cade" last="Tyson"], [player_tooltip player_id="1274301" first="Nyles" last="Howard"] and Logan Threat leading the charge still. Threat is doing a solid job running the point guard spot with 13.1 ppg, 4.6 rpg, 3.5 apg and 2.2 spg, Tyson leads the way with 23.7 ppg and 6.5 rpg and Howard is the energy guy putting up 10.2 ppg, 2.4 rpg and 2.0 apg on the season. They're a strong trio of seniors looking to close things out with a state title and they've certainly got the potential to win a title this season. They'll take on Grayson High on December 28 to kick off their Christmas postseason tournament.</p>
