There in attendance were also a number of top-ranked players from the state of Oregon who showcased their talents in front of the many Division II, Division III, NAIA, and JC coaches in attendance.
We dropped by the camp on Saturday and here’s a look at some of the top players from the Classes of 2024 and 2025 who were there (listed with their most recent ranking):
#2 (2024) –
Austin Maurer

Maurer is a big man who made the biggest difference on the defensive end from what we saw. Blocked shots on two consecutive posessions and then ran the floor to receive the pass for the easy score. He spotted up for perimeter shots and his stroke looked effortless. His ceiling is very high.
#15 (2024) –
Jacey Canalin

Canalin

Wells | 2024
State
OR
, Wells
The lefty point guard made a number of shifty moves with the basketball to free himself on drives and shots. Canalin was clearly one of the quicker players at the event and he converted well in transition.
#23 (2024) –
Jackson Owens
Jackson
Owens
6'3" | CG
Cleveland | 2024
State
OR
, Cleveland
Owens was aggressive going to the basket and converted a couple of nice finishes around the hoop. He plays with a fearless style and is an above-average athlete.
#WL (2024) – Collin Moore, Summit
Moore is a hard-nosed competitor who simply made plays. He created well off the dribble and showed a nice touch on his outside shot. He played bigger than his size, really working hard on the boards and on the defensive end. Moore is currently on the watchlist but he’s certainly a Top 20 guy in the next update.
#WL (2024) –
Jett Birdsall

Birdsall did a nice job of taking care of the basketball and keeping his teammates involved in the offense. We didn’t see him take any shots much less make any, but he’s proven in the past that he can shoot it well.
#WL (2025) –
Winters Grady
Winters
Grady
6'6" | SF
Lake Oswego | 2025
CA-N
, Lake Oswego
Grady has a big frame at 6-foot-6 so you’d expect him to be an undersized post man, but he operated from the wing. He showed great touch from the perimeter and even some footwork as he nailed a step-back three in one game we were watching. There is obviously still a lot to learn but Grady certainly has a lot to work with.
Some other freshmen and sophomores at the event that we briefly saw included:
