Winters Grady
About Winters
Expert Analysis
Max Rosenberg | Prep Hoops Scout
Grady is probably the best shooter on Prolific. He shot the ball well from the 3pt line coming off motion and in catch and shoot situations. Grady moved well without the ball to get his open looks. Michigan coaches were in attendance and probably game planning how to get him open looks next year as he knocked down a corner 3 on the move and I looked over and they were huddled up. Defensively, he was serviceable but can improve more on this side of the ball.

The former #1 ranked player in the state before he transferred to Prolific Prep after his sophomore season at Lake Oswego, Grady will play his college basketball in the Big Ten at Michigan. The 6-foot-7 wing has proven himself as a lethal outside shooter and scorer at high school’s highest level and stands to be one of the top offensive options his final year of prep competition. The commitment to Michigan ended a whirlwind recruitment that included several high-major programs, including the University of Oregon.

The 6-7 junior combo forward has a solid reputation when he can score on all three levels on the offensive end. Grady continues to play with a ton of confidence where he can play off the catch, and the bounce. Defensively, Grady will give you a ton of versatility where he can guard multiple positions as he has a strong knack for guarding off the ball. Offensively, Grady has smooth handles and a strong IQ where he makes the right reads as well as not forcing many mistakes. Grady currently holds offers from California, Portland, Portland State, and several others.
