. I had heard good things about the baseball standout all summer and he didn’t disappoint in his last game of the season. Kemp was unguardable, hanging 34 points, 13 rebounds, 1 assist and 3 steals in a triple overtime 55-53 win, scoring the game-winning sudden death basket. Kemp is a floor stretcher. He’s got a great touch from the perimeter hitting jumper after jumper. Once teams respect his outside shot, he’s strong enough to put the ball on the deck and get to the hoop. Kemp sank five jumpers while mixing in post ups, drives and putbacks. His inside-out game paired with his rebounding ability make him a true game-changer. Already with a sturdy build, Kemp has a very high ceiling. He splits time on the baseball diamond. If he ever decides to solely focus in on basketball, I think he could be a serious prospect for D-I/II programs, especially if he’s able to squeeze out a few more inches. Stay tuned.

was a major impression maker. He’s wired to score. Only a rising sophomore, Tillman has a great feel for the game and is very comfortable probing defenses and getting to his destination. Jacob excels at getting downhill. He has a floater in his arsenal but routinely is able to get all the way to the rim. He was a sparkplug off the bench with 16 points against the Auburn Raptors. Tillman is an exciting guard that will raise eyebrows over the next three years. His play at the 17U level was impressive.

is on the verge of becoming a PrepCircuit legend with his bullish performances. Rodriguez doesn’t take no as an answer when battling in the paint. The undersized post is dominant. He outclassed the Florida Suns with 22 points, 19 rebounds and 2 steals in a 59-56 win. Rodriguez has an uncanny nose for the ball and is outstanding at drawing fouls inside. Pound-for-pound, he’s one of the most productive big men in the state of Georgia. Big Dog reminds us game in and game out, it’s not the size of the dog in the fight, it’s the size of the fight in the dog.
2024 5-8 PG Shaun Smith – SBT 2024 – Mt. Paran
Shaun Smith plays with a cool calming presence in the backcourt. He’s a steady scorer that has a quick first step when getting to the hoop, but Smith can also hurt you without scoring. He’s a reliable ball handler that sees the floor well. The inside-out duo of he and

should help Mt. Paran get back into contention in Class A-Private.
2022 6-6 F Howard Fagan – Quiet Storm – McDonough
Howard Fagan knows his role and plays it to a T. The big man is the garbage man inside for the Quiet Storm. He may not get highlight dunks like some of his teammates, but he’s the guy that eliminates second chance opportunities and sparks those run out transition slams. Howard has very good frame, packed with muscle and length. He does the dirty work on the glass and is a good positional defender. He double-doubled with 10 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal in a 64-57 win over GCPC Stars.
2024 6-1 G Tony Colebrook – Athletes of Influence – John Carroll (FL)
A football standout, Tony Colebrook uses his strength and athleticism to play all over the floor. More so a guard due to his size, Colebrook still manages to pack a punch in the paint with his rebounding and scoring up close. His versatility and energy make him an option to play 1-3. In a gritty 68-59 win over Spartans Elite, Colebrook did a little bit of everything with 15 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks.
2023 6-1 G Demonte Pellot – SBT 2022 – North Cobb
Demonte Pellot showed flashes of his upside against 4TL, putting up 12 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 6 steals. He’s a good athlete that can turn corners and get two feet into the paint. I like Pellot’s future as a playmaker, getting downhill and finding the open man when he doesn’t decide to finish at the rim. Demonte provides good effort on defense and can move laterally in the press at a high level.
2023 6-9 F Ryan Bellomy – SBT 2022 – Harrison
Only a rising junior, Ryan Bellomy just finished another season playing up. He has a really good build, long with some muscle slowly being added on. Bellomy has a stretch-four skill set. He can shoot the mid-range jumper and occasionally step out to the three-point line. As he gets stronger, he will be able to score more efficiently on the low block. His 21-point 10-rebound double-double on Sunday projects a high ceiling.
