<p>Schwartz was solid last year, helping pace a high-powered Treynor attack with his 5.4 assists a game. With the top three Cardinals scorers graduated, he’ll be relied upon to become a bigger scoring threat as a senior.</p>

<p><strong>2.) 2022 [player_tooltip player_id="1235018" first="Parker" last="McHone"] (Jesup) - 5.0</strong></p>
<p>A true lead guard who thrives on getting others involved, McHone dished out 46 more helpers than any other J-Hawk last year. He’s also a solid perimeter shooter who knocked down 36 3-pointers last year.</p>

<p><strong>3.) 2022 [player_tooltip player_id="1235040" first="Carter" last="Gallagher"] (Columbus Catholic) - 5.0</strong></p>
<p>The Sailors won just three games last year, but Gallagher was a standout, leading the team in scoring, assists, and steals as a junior. With his size, he sees the floor well and he dished out 54% of the team’s assists last year.</p>

<p><strong>4.) 2023 [player_tooltip player_id="1240102" first="Carter" last="Boettcher"] (Sioux Central) - 4.9</strong></p>
<p>A 6-0 do-it-all guard, Boettcher stuffed the stat sheet to the tune of 10.4 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.9 assists, and 2.4 steals a game last year. If he can become a bit more efficient as a scorer, the Rebels offense could be one of the better attacks in 2A this season.</p>

<p><strong>5.) 2023 [player_tooltip player_id="956884" first="Zach" last="Lutmer"] (Central Lyon) - 4.6</strong></p>
<p>One of the best athletes in the 2023 class, Lutmer is also a standout on the football field. He led the Lions in scoring (20.4), rebounding (5.8), assists (4.6), and steals (2.2) last season, displaying impressive scoring and all-around playmaking skills. </p>

<p><strong>6.) 2022 [player_tooltip player_id="1235039" first="Jackson" last="Pennington"] (Mid-Prairie) - 4.4</strong></p>
<p>A true lead guard, Pennington averaged more assists than points last season. A 5-10 lead guard, he also posted a better than 2-1 assist-to-turnover ratio.</p>

<p><strong>7.) 2022 [player_tooltip player_id="1235038" first="Tyler" last="Oberfoell"] (Osage) - 4.3</strong></p>
<p>A solid two-way player for the Green Devils, Oberfoell made the most 3-pointers while also leading the team in assists. He’s a strong defender both on-and-off the ball.</p>

<p><strong>8.) 2022 [player_tooltip player_id="1235015" first="Jake" last="Weber"] (Williamsburg) - 4.3</strong></p>
<p>Weber is a really good shooter who buried 47% of his 3-point attempts last year in addition to his great distribution skills. A diminutive lead guard who does a great job getting others involved, he’s also a solid defender both on-and-off the ball.</p>

<p>Janssen is a gifted lead guard with incredible court vision and a great feel for the game. He played alongside a pair of big scorers last year, and will be relied upon to be a bigger scoring threat as a senior, something he looked very capable of at the Winterset Shootout in June.</p>

<p><strong>10.) 2022 [player_tooltip player_id="1158470" first="Logan" last="Goedken"] (Beckman Catholic) - 4.0</strong></p>
<p>Goedken is a true lead guard who looks to get others involved before hunting his own shot. He does a great job getting into the paint and kicking out to open shooters or finding a cutting wing or big.</p>
