Prep Hoops just launched its new 2024 Palmetto State Rankings on Monday. A total of 69 players made this latest edition up from the previous 51 players back in early April. Prep Hoops is going to take a look at some of the best tandems, trios and yes a foursome in this set of rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id="986184" first="Cameron" last="Scott"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1090522" first="Morgan" last="Washington"] - Lexington HS

Scott is ranked #1 player in the 2024 Palmetto State and has already received High Major Offers. Washington recently moved into the Lexington HS program from nearby Irmo HS. This duo could really help the Wildcats make the turn in the region for Head Coach Elliott Pope.

[player_tooltip player_id="1149079" first="Jeremaih" last="McCain"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1019804" first="Damon" last="Howey"] - Lugoff-Elgin HS

McCain and Howey can be the future of the Demons basketball program after seeing extensive playing time last season under then Head Coach Brenden Marcell. McCain runs with Upward Stars Southeast 2024 while Howey plays with PCH Nightrydas SC. McCain excels in the transition game while Howey has a knack to score the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id="1074155" first="Camden" last="Durant"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1074154" first="Daquean" last="Lewis"] - Calhoun Falls Charter

This duo really plays off the grid in the Northwest corner of the state along the Georgia State line. Calhoun Falls Charter is maybe the smallest school in the Palmetto State last I saw at 97 students. Durant plays several sports for the Flashes and isn't afraid to mix it up down low in the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id="1112902" first="Ladontae" last="Felton"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1224936" first="Jadan" last="Young"] - Aiken HS

Yes there is another Felton coming up the ranks for the Fighting Hornets and Head Coach Darris Jackson. Felton will team up with sharp shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id="1224936" first="Jadan" last="Young"] in the Aiken HS backcourt.

[player_tooltip player_id="1160580" first="Musa" last="Muriithi"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1127746" first="Jack" last="Pfister"] - Greer Middle College

Musa is a wiry point guard while Pfister can play with his back to the basket for the Blazers. Pfister is a mover-screener while looking to post up. Muriithi is the table-setter for Head Coach Jamar Armstrong team.

[player_tooltip player_id="1038227" first="RJ" last="Simmons"], [player_tooltip player_id="1038226" first="Montreal" last="Jenkins"], [player_tooltip player_id="1135989" first="Kai" last="Murdock"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1225004" first="John" last="Templeton"] - Cathedral Academy (North Charleston)

Simmons, Jenkins and Murdock helped the Generals and Head Coach Blake Ferguson get to SCISA Class 1A semifinals last season as freshmen. Jenkins a undersized scoring guard led the Generals at 18.1 ppg, Simmons 15.5 ppg and Murdock 8.2 ppg. [player_tooltip player_id="1225004" first="John" last="Templeton"] recently transferred over to the Generals from Oceanside Collegiate for this season.
