2023 Rankings: Underrated Floor Generals

<p>The 2023 rankings have been updated in the state of the North Carolina with a ton of talent on display. Here’s a look at some floor generals with a ton of room to grow in the 2023 class over the next few months.</p> <h5>No. 55 [player_tooltip player_id="1062123" first="Tomir" last="Moore"] | All Carolina/Parrott</h5> <p>Moore is a point guard that turns heads right away with his ability to get under defender and force turnovers. He's a floor general that leads by example, creating turnovers in space and getting out on the fastbreak for easy scores. He finds ways to make his presence felt with and without the ball on both ends of the floor making him quite the two-way floor general. Colleges need to take notice.</p> <h5>No. 83 [player_tooltip player_id="1155694" first="Colin" last="Fayed"] | Upward Stars SE 3SSB/Gaston Day</h5> <p>Fayed is a floor general with a high IQ for controlling the pace of the game with the ball in his hands. He's got a quick first step that he uses well with his solid handle to make things happen. Add that to his ability to fill it up from deep in a hurry, colleges should be on him in no time.</p> <h5>No. 98 [player_tooltip player_id="1049154" first="Dylan" last="McBride"] | Big Shots Elite McBride/East Carteret</h5> <p>McBride is a point guard that gets after it on both ends with his energy and quickness. He isn't afraid to get downhill and create in traffic and picks solid spots to knock down shots on the perimeter. He's a prospect that fills up the stat sheet in a variety of ways and a bright future ahead of him. As he improves his decision-making in the halfcourt and gets stronger, look for colleges to start getting in contact with him.</p> <h5>No. 123 [player_tooltip player_id="1156059" first="George" last="Bechara"] | No Guts No Glory/Cary Christian</h5> <p>Bechara is a point guard that’s slowly finding his way in the 2023 class. He got adjusted this past season to varsity play at Cary Christian and has gotten a ton of experience under his belt running the show for No Guts No Glory on the grassroots stage. While he isn't the most athletic, he uses his IQ and ability to control the pace to make up for it. As he improves his shooting and shows he can play when sped up, look for his name to grow in the class.</p> <h5>No. 130 [player_tooltip player_id="1126212" first="Casian" last="Richard"] | Big Shots Elite NC/Asheville Christian</h5> <p>Richard is a floor general that plays with an added chip on his shoulder and it shows in his ability to score in a variety of ways both on the perimeter and in the paint. He was a new face in the last update after showing what he could do on the high school scene. On the grassroots side, he's proven he can operate on all three levels and produce as a playmaker. As he shows he can do more than score and impacts the game using his speed and energy, look for his name to grow at Asheville Christian at the point guard spot. </p>
