The 2025 Prep Hoops Carolinas Freshman Showcase and Top 250 Expo were held in Rock Hill, South Carolina, on Saturday. This is one of the best days of the year because there were over 150 of the best prospects from North Carolina and South Carolina competing under one roof. Take a look at my Top 250 Expo Team 11 Evaluations:

#826 [player_tooltip player_id='2554832' first='Zaylen' last='Washington'] (Mountain View Prep) - First up on the Team 11 Evaluations is [player_tooltip player_id='2554832' first='Zaylen' last='Washington']. Washington is a solid, left-handed Guard out of MVP who showed that he can play on or off the ball for his team. He knocked down a few threes and attacked the rim well.

#852 [player_tooltip player_id='2692025' first='Joc' last='Miller'] (High Point) - Joc is another Upstate Guard who played well for team 11. Miller is also on the smaller side, but he is polished in his ability to balance scoring and facilitating. Joc has good speed with the ball, is comfortable handling and finishing with both hands, and is a confident shooter.

#863 [player_tooltip player_id='2175028' first='Pierce' last='Froehlich'] (JL Mann) - Froehlich caught my eye scoring the ball in both the 3v3 and 5v5 settings. Pierce plays at a very composed pace as he gets to his spots in the mid-range, spots up for threes, and navigates the paint. He also has a high release to shoot over contests.

#925 [player_tooltip player_id='2529301' first='Ali' last='Sannoun'] (TL Hanna) - I also got to catch up with Sannoun in 3v3 and 5v5 games. Although he did have a few turnovers, he was an overall plus with the ball in his hands. Ali doesn't shy away from contact as he looks to get to the rim and can add spacing to the offense with corner shooting.

#936 [player_tooltip player_id='2555248' first='Kiedis' last='Smith'] (Hilton Head) - Kiedis was the top prospect on this team and one of the highest-ranked 2028s at the event. His positional length is one of the first things that stands out, but he is also a knockdown three-point shooter and high-level passer.

#937 [player_tooltip player_id='1537909' first='Jack' last='Mevold'] (Philip Simmons) - Rounding out the Team 11 Evaluations is [player_tooltip player_id='1537909' first='Jack' last='Mevold']. Mevold was able to find and punish some favorable matchups against smaller post defenders at the Prep Hoops Top 250 Expo. He has solid footwork and touch in the post.
