An athletic, 6-3 wing who impacts the game on both ends of the floor, Hugan can score from all three levels, runs the floor hard in transition, and gets into passing lanes. He played sparingly as a freshman for the 3A state champions, but will be a huge part of the Dutch program as a sophomore and moving forward.
Grady Jeppesen Grady Jeppesen 6'0" | SG Riverside | 2024 State IA (Riverside)
The 6-0 wing was extremely productive as a scorer for the Bulldogs as a freshman, averaging 16.4 points a game with 49-37-70 shooting splits. He can score from all three levels and showed some impressive efficiency numbers for a young scorer.
Ryan Kleppe Ryan Kleppe 6'3" | SF Dowling Catholic | 2024 State IA (Dowling Catholic)
A long and skilled 6-2 lefty, Kleppe can score from all three levels, handles it well, and is a good passer who can really make plays for others. A high IQ player who makes the right read on both ends.
Jackson Kutcher Jackson Kutcher 6'0" | SG Mount Vernon | 2024 State IA (Mount Vernon)
Similar to older brother Keaton, Jackson is a knockdown shooter who can get red hot and carry a team with his shooting. He moves well off the ball and shoots it at a high level off the dribble and the catch.
Kyle Lamonte Kyle Lamonte 6'3" | SF Rock Island | 2024 IL (Davenport North)
An athletic 6-1 wing, Lamonte didn’t back down from some stiff 4A competition as a key contributor for the Wildcats. He averaged 6.2 points and finished second on the team in free-throw attempts, showing his willingness to constantly attack the rim. As he continues to improve as a perimeter shooter, watch out, because he could turn into one of the state’s elite scoring threats.
Brooks Moore Brooks Moore 6'5" | SF Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont | 2024 State IA (Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont)
A 6-5 wing, Moore was one of the most productive freshmen in the state, averaging 13.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.7 assists a game. He has the ability to score inside and out, and he has the size and length to be a versatile impact defender.
Preston Ries Preston Ries 6'1" | SF Monticello | 2024 State IA (Monticello)
Ries played inside a lot for a Panthers team that didn’t have much traditional size, but the 6-1 forward doesn’t shy away from contact. He’s a well-built forward who competes on the glass on both ends of the floor. He’ll likely project as a wing at the next level, and he showed an ability to knock down an occasional 3 with good form and a smooth release.
