Tony Roe | Prep Hoops Scout
Moore is a matchup problem with his combination of size, length, and athleticism. At 6-6/6-7, he has the ability to create off the dribble for himself and his teammates, and he loves to attack the rim in transition and in the halfcourt setting, looking to dunk on anyone who gets in his path. He’s a great rebounder who uses his size and explosive athleticism to control the glass on both ends of the floor, and his jumper has come a long way in the last few years. He averaged 20.9 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 2.6 assists a game last season for the Rockets.

Moore is a player with a lot of upside, a nice blend of size and athleticism who has started to put everything together over the last year. He still needs to improve as a shooter, but he’s a long, explosive wing who looks to finish above the rim whenever he can. He can control the glass on either end of the floor and has improved as a playmaker. After averaging 20.9 points and 8.6 rebounds a game last season for the Rockets, he could easily average a double-double as a senior. He’s tough to slow down at this level once he gets a head of steam.
