[player_tooltip player_id="1030540" first="Christ" last="Essandoko"] | 7’0 | Winston-Salem Christian

Essandoko is probably the biggest name on the Winston-Salem Christian roster in 2020-21. He’s a native of France with a Euro-style game that allows him to operate inside-out using his fundamental skillset. He’s mobile and active on both ends and due to make waves in North Carolina with offers already from Seton Hall, Rutgers, Wake Forest and others.

[player_tooltip player_id="1022040" first="Iffy" last="Ufochukwu"] | 6’10 | Covenant Day

Iffy is another center prospect with a versatile and mobile skill set. He’s a rim-to-rim threat given his length and prowess for making things happen when he’s around the paint. He’s got a nice feel for the game in the post and a high IQ as a rebounder and shot blocker on the defensive end. With offers already from Siena and Rice, the Nigerian native is just getting started in the frontcourt at Covenant Day.

[player_tooltip player_id="848067" first="Patrick" last="Wessler"] | 6’11 | Combine Academy

Wessler is an emerging big man prospect with versatility to his game and due for a boost as he joins the Combine Academy rotation in 2020-21. He produced 18.0 ppg, 11.8 rpg and 3.2 bpg at Butler High in 2019-20 as a primary option in the rotation. He’s developing as more than just a paint presence and as he does, look for his recruitment to grow. Virginia Tech, East Carolina, Elon and others have already offered him.

[player_tooltip player_id="1032837" first="C.J." last="Collins"] | 6’11 | Greensboro Day

Collins finds himself as a name to know in the Greensboro Day rotation after turning heads on the grassroots scene with Garner Road 3SSB. He spent this past season as West Craven where he put up 8.0 ppg, 10.3 rpg and 3.3 bpg but he’s set to do more damage with a program recognized on a national level. Look for him to turn heads with his ability to play in the paint and above the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id="577829" first="Jamih" last="Springer"] | 6’8 | East Mecklenburg

Springer is a forward prospect that gets after it in the paint and did so in the East Mecklenburg rotation in 2019-20. He put up 7.9 ppg, 5.7 rpg and 2.2 bpg this past season as a sophomore in the varsity rotation. He’s also the younger brother of Jaden Springer, who is now at the University of Tennessee, so the athletic pedigree runs in the family. Look for his role to grow with his squad in 2020-21.

[player_tooltip player_id="577877" first="Christian" last="Reeves"] | 7’0 | Cannon School

Reeves is a center prospect that’s continuing to develop as a solid presence on both ends. When he’s dialed in, he’s a presence that can finish at the rim and space the floor with his ability to shoot it in the mid-range area. Defensively, he’s solid defending the rim and rebounding the ball. He holds offers from East Carolina and South Florida.

[player_tooltip player_id="747011" first="Jabare" last="Perry"] | 6’7 | Cape Fear Christian Academy

Perry is a new face from the state of South Carolina that plays big and uses his size to position himself around the rim for boards on both ends, making him a solid clean up man. He’s developed a nice jump shot as well to go along with his bruising post moves. He’ll be a breakout name on a talented Cape Fear Christian roster in 2020-21.

[player_tooltip player_id="1048865" first="Daeron" last="Smith"] | 6’6 | West Mecklenburg

Smith is a relentless presence around the paint and the rim with his ability to find ways to get open without the ball and be a presence on the glass. He was a familiar face on the grassroots stage this past summer with the Charlotte Dragons, showing off his prowess for finishing above the rim and scoring and rebounding in bunches. He’s due for a breakout junior season at West Mecklenburg after appearing playing in Virginia in 2019-20.

[player_tooltip player_id="1008878" first="Micah" last="Handlogten"] | 6’11 | SouthLake Christian

Handlogten is a prospect with a ton of potential as a presence in the paint and around the rim. He’s a 6-foot-11 prospect that produced 5.0 ppg, 5.6 rpg and 2.0 apg at SouthLake Christian this past season and had a productive grassroots season with Upward Stars 704. He’s an emerging inside-out prospect that can knock it down from deep, rebound and finish above the rim with his athleticism. He’s starting to gain interest from some college programs and should grow over the next few months.

[player_tooltip player_id="1032849" first="Khouri" last="Carvey"] | 6’8 | Community Christian

Carvey is another big man prospect with budding potential at the center spot in the 2022 class. He’ll join Community Christian after appearing at Fike in 2019-20 where he produced 8.6 ppg, 8.3 rpg and 1.7 bpg. He’s due for a breakout season after showing his development on the grassroots scene as a traditional post presence with nice mobility and defensive instincts. He’ll be a growing name in 2020-21.
