No. 19 – James Lee Repass James Lee Repass 6'10" | PF Providence | 2021 State FL verbally committed to Furman on March 6th. The 6’10” big man immediately slots in as one of the biggest players for Furman and with another year left in high school, Lee Repass will only get stronger and better near the rim. He is a consistent threat to reach double digits as he did so in 18 games last season, averaging 13.3 PPG and 5.9 RPG. He’s never going to go wild in the scoring department but with a 26 point game against Bolles and a 25-point game against Seffner Christian this season, he proved he can take advantage of mismatches. He’s a load inside and someone who is filled with power and IQ.
No. 20 – James Henderson James Henderson 6'8" | PF Westminster Christian | 2021 State FL is true intimidator at 6’8″ and has been developed in his upper body for a few years now. He averaged 14 PPG and 8.0 RPG this season. Henderson is simply a bruiser who can get fed the ball a ton in the paint, hit the mid-range and finish with lay-ins. If he continues to get more vertical ability, he will be a true problem. Northern Arizona and Hampton have offered while UCF, UC Irvine, Boston University and IUPUI have shown interest thus far.
No. 22 – Tyrone Baker Tyrone Baker 6'10" | PF Fort Bend Hightower | 2021 State TX is a bloomer as of late who is fresh off a very nice junior campaign, averaging 20.7 PPG, 10.0 RPG and 4.3 BPG. In fact, he had 15 double doubles and reached double digits in every single game. Baker’s top performance came in a Jan. 14 win over Lely with 33 points, 19 rebounds and eight blocks as he shot 14-of-17 from the field in the game. Baker’s length is an issue offensively and he’s gaining confidence as a creator. Defensively, he is a bonafide shotblocker and aggressor. Baker has offers from East Carolina, FGCU and Louisiana-Monroe and interest from USF, Murray State and New Orleans.
No. 29 – Modibo Sanogo Modibo Sanogo 6'9" | C Central Pointe Christian | 2021 FL hails from Mali, Africa and quickly proved himself at Central Pointe Christian this season. He is very physical at the point of attack, doesn’t shy away from contact and can get an offense going in a hurry with his ability to move defenders around. Defensively, he is a brute and a player who simply battles. He can stand to improve his jumper and ballhandling but I expect him to break out here soon. Sanogo has offers from Stetson, McNeese State and Siena.
No. 44 – Elijah Hulsewe Elijah Hulsewe 6'10" | C Windermere Prep | 2021 State FL is one of the top emerging centers in the entire state hands down. He took his game to the next level on a very talented Windermere Prep squad as he played alongside 2022 big man Fanbo Zeng. Hulsewe averaged 12.2 PPG and 9.1 RPG, setting a program record with 272 rebounds on the season. He reached double digits in 19 games which included a 31-point, 10-rebound performance in a win over Lake Mary Prep on Jan. 31. He is getting craftier near the rim and is simply a towering presence. Temple, Jacksonville, Georgia Southern have shown interest so far.
