1. Heritage Huskies (6-1)
Last Rank: 1st (↔)
The Huskies remain at the top of the power rankings as the final games of the conference schedule approach. Redford Dunton recently surpassed the 1,000-point mark while his teammate, Lucas Taylor, has received his first Division I offer from Wofford. They’ve got Knightdale, Wake Forest and Rolesville coming up to finish the schedule.
2. Knightdale Knights (5-2)
Last Rank: 2nd (↔)
The Knights remain steady at the second spot as this year’s surprise team in the NAC VI. Rodney Ellis and 2023 guard Quasim Oden are a few names to keep an eye on for them. Heritage, Wakefield and Corinth Holders left on the schedule, so there’s a chance they could overtake the top spot when it’s all said and done.
3. Rolesville Rams (4-3)
Last Rank: 4th (↑1)
The Rams are up another spot after going 1-1 this past week in conference play. They’re getting over the hump led by Brandon Johnson and recent NC Wesleyan commit Darien Long. They’ll look to make a final move with Wake Forest, Corinth Holders and Heritage left on the schedule.
4. Wakefield Wolverines (4-3)
Last Rank: 3rd (↓1)
The Wolverines are down another spot after going 1-2 since the second edition of NAC VI Power Rankings. Seniors Brenon Rogers and Vernon Fraley Jr. will look to finish strong with Corinth Holders, Knightdale and Wake Forest coming up to finish the schedule.
5. Wake Forest Cougars (1-6)
Last Rank: 6th (↑1)
The Cougars are up a spot since taking home their first victory in NAC VI action over Corinth Holders last Tuesday. They’ve got back-to-back games coming up against Rolesville on Monday and Heritage on Tuesday night, then on Friday night, they’ve got Wakefield.
6. Corinth Holders Pirates (1-6)
Last Rank: 5th (↓1)
The Pirates have lost three games in a row since the second edition of power rankings. 2021 guard Justin Stephens has still managed to average 14.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals per contest on the season. He’s a prospect to keep an eye on. They’ll play on Monday against Wakefield, Rolesville on Tuesday and Knightdale on Friday.
