5. Grandview (5-3)
Grandview had a solid week traveling to Vegas in the Tarkinan Classic, they went 2-2. They beat a very talented Arbor View team, who has multiple D1 players. After the break they have two big games when they play Rock Canyon and Smoky Hill, definitely two huge games for them.
4. East (8-0)
East is one of the few teams that is undefeated despite not having the strongest schedule they have beat some solid teams this week. They beat solid teams in Mullen and Palmer. They have two stars on their team in Langston Reynolds and Boston Stanton. Langston is averaging 22 points per game and Boston is averaging 21.6 points per game. This team also very good players around them who make this team very deep. They have one of their biggest match ups of the year against Chaparral, should be a good test to see how good this East team really is.
3. Eaglecrest (7-1)
Eaglecrest has had a great season so far only loosing one game when they traveled out of state. This week they had two good wins against Fairview and Regis Jesuit, and Regis has not won any games but have probably the toughest schedule and have stayed in games against top teams. Eaglecrest is being lead by Zion Ruckard who is averaging 17.8 points per game. They also have two of the best juniors in the state in Ty Robinson and Skylar Wilson who cause opposing teams problems. They have two huge games after the break when they play Mountain Vista and Overland.
2. Smoky Hill (7-1)
Smoky Hill has had a good past week but did not have any big match ups. They have Jalen Weaver who has been playing like one of the best players in 5A. Then they have Quinten Rock the senior leading the team with his veteran presence. They have a rematch against Valor Christian and then a huge game against Grandview.
1. Rangeview (8-0)
Rangeview had a great week keeping their undefeated record throughout the Tarkinan Classic. They plays as a team every game so they do not have a main guy. The Speller Twins are helping lead this team to victory. They have a big game coming up against Columbine which is one of there better match ups left in the season.
