10. Boulder (4-1)
Boulder did not have any games this week but still has the wins of Mountain Vista and Cherry Creek under their belt. They have a big game coming up on January 7th against Thunderridge, even though Thunderridge has struggled a bit they are still a tough match up for this Boulder team. Should be a good game!
9. Ralston Valley (7-1)
Ralston Valley is coming off of a week with some easier match ups which they handled easily. There only loss has come to a very good Fairview team. This team is one of the more underrated teams in terms of talent in the state they have a good senior duo in Caleb Rillos and Caden Gigstad. This team has some good match ups when they get back when they play Golden and Legend.
8. Fairview (6-3)
You may see that Fairview has 3 losses and think that they should not be in the top 10 but all of their wins were to very good teams. This week they lost to Cherry Creek and Eaglecrest. The Eaglecrest game was a close fought game that went into overtime. Then they played Cherry Creek in the championship of the Cherry Creek Holiday Classic which was another close game that came down to the very end. This team has very good and depth that will keep them in every game. They do not have any huge challenges coming up but are definitely a team to watch out for in the Boulder area.
7. Cherry Creek (6-2)
Cherry Creek is coming off of a big week winning the Cherry Creek Holiday Classic. Cherry Creek just recently got back there football stars, Julian Hammond and Myles Purchase. These guys make a huge difference for the team, this week they beat Lincoln and Fairview which are two very good teams. After the break they play Chaparral on the third which is a very good match up for them.
6. Columbine (6-0)
This Columbine team is one of the few undefeated teams left. They have beaten some good teams in Overland (no Graham), Highlands Ranch, and Fountain Fort Carson. This team is being led by CU Boulder commit Luke O’Brien, so far this year he is averaging 28.2 points and 7.2 rebounds per game. After the break they have two big match ups in Rangeview and Legend.
