2019 T.of.C: Top Friday performers

He shots 3-of-8 from the 3-point line, 43 percent from the field and gathered six rebounds and three steals in his MVP-level performance. The 6-foot-6-inch senior scored with the basketball at all three levels, boasting his dynamic playmaking versatility and rising above his competition.</span></p> <hr /> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;font-family: georgia, palatino, serif"><strong><span style="color: #ff6600">Jameson Richardson</span> | 2020 SF | Duke</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif">After struggling in his Thursday performance, Jameson Richardson drastically improved his play Friday, shooting 3-of-4 from 3-point land and finishing with 19 points to lead the Tigers in an upset against 3A first-ranked Millwood. The Falcons struggled to contain the strength of Richardson, but it was his unrelenting play that was the key factor in the Tigers' win: the senior played for 31 minutes in the win.</span></p> <hr /> <p><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif"><strong><span style="color: #ff6600">Mason Rice</span> | 2020 PF | Duke</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif">If you're looking for the most efficient player on the floor Friday, look no further than Duke's Mason Rice, who netted 19 points on 50 percent shooting and one hundred percent shooting from the free-throw line. The 6-foot-2-senior has the makings of a dynamic, versatile scorer. Alexander went back-and-forth with 2020 No. 1 star Bryce Thompson in one of the most exciting games at the mid-way point of the 2019-2020 season. The reigning Gatorade player of the year scored 33 points in an historic T.of.C game against Heritage Hall, where he shot 13-of-18 from the field and shot 60 percent from the 3-point line.
