Jalen Weaver- Smoky Hill, SG 6’5 2021
Jalen is a guy who just came off of a huge summer and is expecting a big junior season. The way Jalen can score so much is by the combination of his athleticism and soft touch around the rim. At times it seems like he floats in the air. If you catch him on a fast-break he will probably throw down a dunk. He also has a nice shot from the outside, watch for him to put up some big numbers this year.
Caleb McGill- Grandview, F 6’8 2020
Caleb may have been the best player in the whole Fall league. He is 6’8 and can play positions 2-5 at the high school level. The UC Davis commit does not have many guys in Colorado who can guard him; if someone is the same size he can take them off the dribble or they will be too small and he can take them in the post. He also has range from outside, he is really a guy who can score inside and out. Watch out for Caleb to have a huge year.
Baye Fall- Lutheran, C 6’11 2023
Baye is not only the best freshman in Colorado, but one of the best in the nation. As a freshman, he is dominating against varsity competition. His game just keeps expanding so much in so little time, I can not even imagine how good he will be in three years. His handle and athleticism look great for a guy his size. This kid probably has the most potential I have ever seen.
Anthony Harris Jr.- Smoky Hill, G/F 6’6 2022
Anthony is a guy who had a huge Fall and hopped on almost everyone’s radar. As a sophomore Anthony might be the most athletic guy in the state, once he gets a better handle on the ball there is not much that will stop him. His bounciness allows him to throw down some crazy dunks, catch lobs, and send opposing teams’ shots careening off the backboard. Also, his shot is developing well for his age, after this Fall he put his name in consideration for one of the top dawgs in the class of 2022.
Kobe Sanders- Chaparral, PG 6’0 2020
Kobe is a player who could be towards the top of the state in scoring and assists this year. He is a great leader on the court, and he will be asked to score more this year with only two returning starters. Kobe is a guy who can score from anywhere on the floor, he can hit threes, floaters, and layups. Watch out for him to lead his team to another great season.
