Tommy Rau- Rock Canyon, C 6’11 2020
Tommy made his impact by being straight up the biggest guy in the building. He is tall and bulky, using his body he can back down defenders for easy finishes. A few times I saw him back down guys then dunk on them. Watch out for him to help out Rock Canyon this year.
Aaron Jacob- Chaparral, F 6’7 2021
Aaron is not a traditional big, he is what I would call a Point Forward. At 6’7 he can bring the ball up the floor and has good vision to find open teammates. The main part of his game is his jumper, he has a nice mid range and three point shot. In one game I saw him go off for over 20 points scoring inside and out.
Baye Fall- Lutheran, C 6’11 2023
If you have not seen this kid yet, you have to go out and see him! Baye is really something else to watch, his game is progressing so quickly for his age, and it is allowing him to dominate varsity competition. When he is near the rim, he can dunk on top of players and has a soft touch. He has a developing mid range jumper that has been looking better everyday. One of the most impressive parts of his game is his athleticism; he can run the floor on the fast break and get up to block shots around the rim.
Phillip Toledo- Cherokee Trail, F 6’6 2020
Phillip is an under rated guy, he really performed well in this Fall league. One of his best abilities is his shot from the outside; in a close game against Regis he hit a few clutch threes at the end of the game. He is also a sneaky athlete, I saw him get fouled on a dunk attempt on top of someone.
Jake Hasset- Rock Canyon, F 6’7 2020
Jake is a guy who makes an impact on the court on the defensive end. Every game I saw him in, he had a chase down block; he also has good defensive positioning in the half court setting. On the other end of the court, he has a good jumper and can attack inside.
Isaac Tesafaye- Cherokee Trail, F 6’5 2020
Isaac is a guy who is not the tallest for a big man but he hustles on the court. He boxes out really well which allows him to pull down a lot of boards. It is most likely that he will be Cherokee Trail’s main scorer. He can bang inside with the big guys and has a good mid range shot.
