Vincas Veikalas – Overland 2021
Vincas with good size at the guard position really used his frame to his advantage. Initiating contact with defenders to get slight separation then being comfortable finishing with either hand. Several times Vincas countered defenders trying to cut him off during his drives by spinning off the defenders. Rebounding really stood out with Vincas, he is great reading where the missed shots would go and timing his jump to secure the rebound.
Taeshaud Jackson – Dakota Ridge 2020
Taeshaud took on different challenges and roles each game I watched him. Whether it was spreading the floor with his three point shot or hustling out on defense when the line up was smaller. Taeshaud showed he was not scared of anyone at the showcase, as a guard he was challenging the bigs on both ends of the floor. Brining a lot of energy for his team every game.
Brayden Carter – Mullen 2021
Brayden was very versatile, he was able to play with anyone at the showcase. Showing good patience on the offensive end. Brayden gave his guards time to come off the pick and would roll when the time was right. Brayden stretched the floor with his jump shot making it hard for his defenders to choose how to guard him.
Valentinas Ulinas – Overland 2020
Leading the showcase with getting to the foul line. Valentines was relentless attacking the rim. He was able to draw fouls and shot well at the free throw line at the showcase. Able to stretch the floor with his jumper as well. Great motor allowed Valentinas to stay aggressive. Showed athletic ability getting up for rebounds and finishing in transition with dunks.
