With conference play underway, let’s take a look at the leading rebounders in Colorado’s Class 4A.
16. Adam Jolly, 6-5, F, Holy Family, 2019, 7.5 rpg
Jolly has grown a ton from his junior year and is becoming a more physical player in the paint. He is averaging 7.5 rebounds for the No. 3-ranked Tigers while sharing the post area with teammate Kyle Helbig, who directly precedes him on this list. An athletic player who runs the floor, Jolly is also averaging 12.0 points per game.
17. Jake Lozinski, 6-0, G, Berthoud, 2019, 7.5 rpg
Scoring 10.8 points per game while splitting his time between the perimeter and the paint, Lozinski is also grabbing 7.5 rebounds a night. He impacts the game in a number of other ways, as well, averaging 3.3 assists and 2.4 steals for the Spartans.
18. James Felton, 6-7, W, Lincoln, 2019, 7.4 rpg
The Lancers are 11-5 so far this season and much credit for that is due to Felton’s production. He is averaging 7.4 rebounds, 1.3 blocks, 1.2 assists and on steal per game on top of scoring a team-high 18.0 points.
19. Seth Newton, 6-2, PG/SG, Canon City, 2021, 7.3 rpg
The long sophomore among the top 30 rebounders in Class 4A, Newton plays basketball, football and baseball. This winter, he is corralling 7.3 rebounds to go with the 6.9 points, 3.9 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.0 blocks he is averaging on a nightly basis.
20. Brady Rose, 6-4, F, Standley Lake, 2019, 7.3 rpg
Rose is getting a lot more playing time in his second season on the varsity club at Standley Lake and he’s making good use of the extra time. So far, he averages 7.3 rebounds, 9.1 points and 1.7 blocks per game for the Gators.
