Prospect Intro: Noah Davis (2019)
Noah Davis a name not known by many outside the 5th region but Davis is looking to hear his name called at Rupp Arena in March. LaRue County was a game away from making the journey to Lexington this season. In 2018-2019, they are the early favorites to get to the Sweet Sixteen and could win a game or two depending on the draw. Senior Guard Noah Davis is hoping to help lead the Hawks to Rupp. Davis describes his game, ” My game is very fast but not out of control, I love to take the ball in transition and go make plays, shooting is my main strength along with defense . I’m more of a pass first player looking for the open man. I can improve in every area, from dribbling to driving the ball to defensive plays.”
Davis was thrilled with the way his Junior season went, “We had a great high school season even though it ended in the region championship. We had 5 guys who could score double digits every night. Personally I was happy with my stats even though I wanna raise my assists per game.” When Davis hits the court again, he may be a little rusty. Noah hasn’t played any AAU or high school summer ball this year because he is a better baseball player than he is on the hardwood. Davis does have high hopes for his senior campaign, “Next season my goals are to win a region championship and compete at state. I want to prove I am a next level player and improve my game in every aspect from scoring to defense to being a better teammate.” LaRue is going to be a team dominated by upper classmen and good multi-sport athletes. In order for the Hawks to get to Rupp Arena, Noah Davis and his senior teammates are going to have to lead their talented younger players. Noah seems to be up to the task.
