Updated Colorado Rankings: Class of 2018
Our rollout of the new Prep Hoops Colorado player rankings continues today with the release of our fresh 2018 list.
There is so much to like about this class, one that made a big impact at high schools across the state last season as a collective sophomore group, and one that has continued to demonstrate depth, talent and versatility this grassroots season.
There was one new addition to the top five, with 6-8 forward Will Becker (Smoky Hill/Colorado Hawks) moving from No. 8 up to No. 4.
This class could really have a 1A and 1B with Daylen Kountz and Sam Masten, two players with high-major potential, occupying the two top spots. Kaison Hammonds, the 6-3 ThunderRidge/Billups Elite guard who recently received his first D-I offer from the University of Denver, checks in at No. 3. And Jon’il Fugett (5-11, George Washington/Colorado Hawks) rounds out the top group at No. 5.
There were 25 players who made their debut on the list, as we expanded out to 100 players, including a handful into the top 50.
This will be an entertaining class to cover over its last two high school seasons. You can see how we’ve stacked the 2018 group up for now by CLICKING HERE.
