Here are the standouts from that site’s set of games:
Jake Belknapp, 6-8 forward, Colorado Chaos 17’s Elite
One of the most refined players on the floor Friday, Belknapp was getting his in the paint through double and even triple-teams. His timing and positioning in the rebound department are impeccable and both were on full display in the Chaos’ 81-63 victory over the Kansas City Pacers.
Jamison Washington, 6-2 guard, Colorado Chaos 17’s Elite
Washington displayed an array of finishing moves, attacking the rim from multiple angles. When Belknapp, Washington and 6-1 guard Colbey Ross are all clicking as they were on Friday, this is a very dangerous squad.
Gage Prim, 6-6 forward, 303 Elite CO Hoops
Few big men in the state run the floor as well as Prim does. And on Friday, Prim showed toughness and situational awareness on both ends. He’s definitely a player to keep an eye this weekend when he gets to face off against some bigger bodies.
Lechaun Duhart, 5-11 guard, 303 Elite CO Hoops
Duhart is a confident ball-handler that isn’t phased by contact. As an athletic finisher with a quick release, defenses are forced to respect his abilities. And if you give him an inch with the athletes he has on this roster, he’s going to take a mile and make a play.
Isaac Essien, 6-0 guard, Team Hook Em
Essien more than held his own in Hook Em’s 58-47 defeat at the hands of 303 Elite CO Hoops. The Highlands Ranch Junior displayed superior handles with an innate ability to consistently keep his head up and survey the court. With that type of combination, it’s no wonder that he consistently elevates the offensive games of his teammates.
Joe Miks, 6-2 guard, Shining Stars Black 2017
Miks was one of the most active players on Friday, making his presence felt on nearly every play on both ends. Miks isn’t afraid to get down and dirty defensively and he features a consistent release on his jump shot.
