Notes: What an incredible month for Pedro Bradshaw! Hours after the first LIVE period, Bradshaw added an #SIUE offer. Within the next week he stockpiled three more Ohio Valley Conference offers (Tennessee Tech, Eastern Kentucky, and Austin Peay). Belmont is interested. C.J. Henagan took visits to Austin Peay, Belmont, and several other D1 schools this past winter. Henagan competes off the ball, and scores with ease at the high school level. Tray Hollowell added three new offers in April.

16u Head Coach: Kamari Wooten
16u Hoop Dreams Gauntlet Roster:
2018 G Andrew Taylor (Corbin) 6’3″
2018 SF Mickey Pearson (John Hardin) 6’6″
2018 WG Justin Mitchell (Henry Clay) 6’4″
2018 C Dalton Perkins (Mason County) 6’9″
2018 WG Jacob Taylor (Bethlehem) 6’5″
2018 F Will Bramel (Boyle County) 6’6″
2018 G Cobe Penny (Anderson County) 6’0″
2019 WG Dontaie Allen (Pendleton County) 6’5″
2018 F Clint Wickliffe (Fern Creek) 6’4″
2018 G Taye Calloway (Union County) 6’2″
2018 WG Mikel Dawson (Huntington High-WV) 6’3″
2018 G Eric Powell (Lafayette) 6’1″
Notes: With Mickey Pearson, the Hoop Dreams 16u has an agile, versatile forward. He can pop to the FT line, or clatter into bodies on the blocks. Andrew Taylor has been improving his handles for years. The guard from Corbin High truly operates with an unnatural ease. Though he is comfortable on the catch-and-shoot, Taylor’s vision is just great as a point guard. He slithers into tough spaces on the floor and also gets his hands dirty on defense.
15u Head Coach: Brad Fraser
15u Hoop Dreams Gauntlet Roster:
2019 SG Rodriguez Thomas (Paducah) 6’3″
2019 F Christian Fields (Madisonville) 6’6″
2019 WG James Nicholas (Hopkinsville) 6’3″
2019 F Brennan Canada (Montgomery County) 6’4″
2019 WG Taquan Hollowell (UHA) 6’3″
2019 WG Dontaie Allen (Pendleton County) 6’5″
2019 G Isiah Hunt (LCA) 5’11”
2020 PG James Taylor Jr. (PRP)
2020 WG DeArre McDonald (Oakland Middle) TN
Notes: Taquan Hollowell is a special player. Late January he recorded a 15-rebound game for University Heights Academy. His older brother plays for Hoop Dreams 17u on the adidas Gauntlet. Dontaie Allen gets playing time on both 15u and 16u. During the final weekend in April, Allen recorded 25 ppg with the 15u squad. University of Kentucky spent an open gym evaluation on him too. Bouncy DeArre McDonald has good natural strength. His game will only grow as he plays against better and better competition. As a freshman Christian Fields saw significant playing time for Madisonville-North Hopkins HS (22-8). Rodriguez Thomas can absorb contact and create problems on the glass for the opposing bigs.
