Trey Marble, 6-0 junior guard, Prairie View
Marble had 32 points, six rebounds and six assists in a narrow loss to Pomona, then followed up with a 29-point, six-rebound, three-assist performance in a close loss to Grand Junction Central. On the season, Marble is averaging 20 points and 4.7 assists per game.
Cameron Horning, 6-3 senior guard, Glenwood Springs
The sharpshooter scored 31 points in a 64-54 victory over Battle Mountain and came back the next day with a 24-point outing in a 60-48 win over Eagle Valley.
Umar Jalloh, 6-6 junior wing, Lincoln
Jalloh helped the Lancers go 2-1 last week by averaging 22 points and eight rebounds per game. The highlight was his 32-point, 14-rebound effort in an 80-79 victory over Westminster, a game in which Jalloh hit the game-winning layup has the buzzer expired after corralling a full-court inbounds pass from the opposite baseline.
Tyler McFarland, 6-3 senior guard, Dakota Ridge
McFarland averaged 20 points per game during a 2-1 week for the Eagles that featured a 62-61 victory over JeffCo League rival Arvada West, with McFarland burying the game-winning shot from NBA 3-point range. McFarland made 10-of-20 3-pointers last week.
Josh Mohammed, 6-1 senior guard, James Irwin
Mohammed had a monster double-double of 37 points and 11 rebounds in an 86-81 loss to the Classical Academy, then scored 18 points and grabbed eight rebounds in a 66-56 victory over St. Mary’s. Mohammed is averaging 23.4 points per game this season.
Jake Belknapp, 6-7 junior forward, Mountain Vista
The powerful and versatile big man had 21 points, 14 rebounds and three blocks in a 65-61 victory over Rocky Mountain. He followed that up with 19 points, six rebounds, three assists and three blocks in a 57-52 win over Fountain-Fort Carson.
