One of the more underrated wings in the 2016 class, 6'5 South County forward Chuchu Enechionyia, is starting to make some noise following a terrific summer on the AAU Circuit. He was the X-Factor for Higher Level 17's all summer long. His head coach Oliver Johnson spoke highly of him.

"He's versatile. This kid can play both sides of the floor." Johnson said. "He just has a high motor. He's a kid that's willing to do anything to do to get his teammates involved and help his team win."

Enechionyia is a tough, versatile forward. He's very good at making plays for his teammates. While he's considered a face-up wing, one of his most underrated skills are his low-post scoring abilities.

"I'm an all around player. I can do whatever my team needs me to do." he said. "I hustle a lot which is a big part of my game. Grabbing rebounds, diving on the floor for loose balls, stuff like that."

Another underrated aspect of Enechionyia's game is his feel for the game. He has a very good basketball IQ.

"I know where all my teammates are," he said. "I know how to make the right play."

During the all important live period in July, Chuchu averaged 14 points per game, 6 rebounds per game, and three assists per game in 14 games for Higher Level 17s. During that stretch, he cashed in on 32 three-point field goals.

VMI extended an offer to Enechionyia following his strong performances in July. Mt. Olive, VSU, UMES, are all currently expressing interest.

"My three-point shot has been falling a lot." he said. "I'm working on ball handling so I can attack my man one-on-one from the wing."

Expect Chuchu to pick up more interest as he leads a surging South County Stallions team this season.
