Pelton stood out, at The Tune Up, as one of the more relentless players that I watched. Very active, on both ends of the court, Pelton used his athleticism and length to dominate, both on the offensive glass, and defensively leading to multiple steals and deflections. Offensively, not just as a rebounder, Pelton showed he could fill it up, from everywhere on the court, knocking down multiple long balls to go with a variety of mid-range and blow-by layups.

Pelton netted 15 of his game-best 23 points before intermission to help his team build an insurmountable lead. Pelton made four three-point shots and a couple of mid-range jumpers in the first half as he consistently utilized his length, skill and smarts to find openings and deliver points.

Pelton operated as a “silent assassin,” making his mark in crucial moments. While not a volume scorer, his timing and efficiency stood out. He demonstrated excellent decision-making off the catch and remained calm under pressure, rarely appearing rushed. With his length and basketball IQ.
