McCormick has had a terrific summer, for 24:UP, and has stood out as one of the top shooters that I have watched. What has caught my attention the most is McCormick’s awareness of floor spacing and positioning in setting up his defender and getting to his spots. Not just purely an outside shooter, McCormick has been one of 24:UP’s better rebounders while making good decisions with the ball in is hands and playing solid defense.

McCormick, as he often does, stood out as one of the top shooters that I watched at The Tune Up in Appleton. Showing good awareness, and floor spacing, McCormick wore out his defenders, getting to his spots, showcasing his limitless range. With nine graduating seniors, McCormick’s scoring ability will be needed for the Lions this season.

Will was one of the best pure shooters I saw all day on Saturday. The 6′ guard checked into the game and immediately knocked down two threes. His team knew that if they could get Will the ball in a pocket of space on the perimeter, three points were likely going on the board. Even without any offensive sets, Will did a nice job of moving without the ball to free himself up to catch and shoot. Type of shooter who can put points on the board in a hurry when he gets hot.
